LOL, the real answer is even funnier - it is a disease, don't know the name in English, but its like an infection in your throat.

Mourinho changing his lines twice was brilliant. Went offensive to take the lead, then went defensive. His tactics are the best.

He loves inciting controversy, which you've got to admit is fun. For TV ratings, selling newspapers, the guy is in a league of his own. I can't tell if he just can't help lighting fires all the time, or if he is trying to take the pressure off his players.

RM came out flat for this game. Barca rarely does, a tribute to Pep.

the Catalan papers are saying that Perez has taken Valdano's side in the Mourinho-Valdano problem but the Madrid-based papers are saying that he's backing Mourinho

Why r you happy ? Doesn't really prove anything since it's all media trash so far.

But since we're onto this then:

well, you can either live in denial and believe this (of course he's not gonna add fuel to the fire) or simply face the truth; Mourinho and Valdano can't work together. Valdano doesn't like Mourinho's game and he already criticized him in the past for it (although he apologized for it earlier this season), Valdano is also aware that Mourinho is damaging Madrids image with his countless low acts. On the other hand Mourinho didn't like the fact that Valdano completely ignored his request for a new striker back in summer, Mourinho also want's Valdano "to defend the team", and of course Mourinho himself is yet to digest the "shit hanging from a stick" remarks by Valdano back in 2007.

Perez already said Valdano is the image of the club...No one can fight with the philosopher he is more to Real Madrid than Jose or any other coach

i look @ the names in our history and Valdano is there with Di Stefano,Raul,Hierro,Gento,Manolo Sanchis,Butre,Hugo Sanchez..etc

they are Real Madrid , it's a tactic from Jose to get his number 9 especially after Benz back to his sulky Anelka II

Mourinho has a way of humiliating his players in the process of lobbying for backup. I wonder why he can't avoid resorting to such low things (the many, many things we've discussed over this stint) to make his points clear. I wonder how a team like Real Madrid allows this to happen.

Not really Pepe.. he kept defending and motivating Benzima for the past couple of month even though from day one he did ask for a striker tbh , kept saying Karim needs to work hard so he can play..etc the thing is after the hatrick in Auxerre , Benz felt like he done it all and was a shadow vs Zaragoza and Seville
even before that he didn't score much but assisted/worked his ass off .. now he feels like he proved himself which clearly he didn't .

he had a golden chance to use Higuain injury to prove himself especially with no subs for him but do he do.. he sulk .
In a way i understand where Jose is coming from and he has a point at the end of day CR is not a striker and Higuain didn't perform Surgery so this hernia in his back can come knocking anytime and it will be too late .
we already looked toothless upfront in the classico ,maybe as a Barcelona fan u can't feel how different we are with Higuain upfront but i feel it and the amount of goals/chances created decreased significantly since Gonzolo was injured cause not only he score goal but he run into spaces and create constant pressure on defenders allowing his team mates to score.
a bit like the role Eto'o did for u
i also understand the club POV of waiting for the summer due the lack of good options in the winter transfer but atm any thing is better than Benzema who clearly failed to adapt in RM

So why not keep all of his strategies behind closed doors and discuss with Valdano/Perez in a private conference, the way any manager would do? "Hey, I need a new striker! This Benz guy sucks!" "No Mou work with what you've got!"

Mature damage control: Commence to moving on gracefully with what resources he's got WORK HARDER and hope that some form and maturity comes from those resources.

Behaving like a spoiled brat when he doesn't get his way doesn't get respect and using his behavior as a tactic to get a striker just further tarnishes the relationship between front office and manager. Your PR people must be having a field day with Mourinho.
