Wait are Madrid looking for a striker who can fill Pipa's absence or are they looking for a long term striker? If it's the first then I don't see why buy Adebayor right now who will be extremely expensive. I say get someone cheap to fill Pipa's void and in the summer sell Benzema and calmly get the desired striker Mou is looking for.

Madrid are looking for a striker to replace Pipa and to send Benzema to the bench where he belongs TBH, just a half year deal would be the best hence why Adebayor is the first thought. The problem is that there aren't any strikers who are = or > than Benzema and are available now to loan out for short term. Who do you have in mind that would agree to come here on loan, wouldn't be cup tied and would have sufficient abilities for Mou to be considered a starter over Karim ?

I don't know if there will ever be a match when Benzema will not be a waste of space. Mou keeps complimenting his desire to play hard, especially in defence. The question is, who gives a fuck except of those who have hope in Benzema ? Nobody cares about his defensive effort since he lacks what a forward needs most and that's scoring. He doesn't have to be fast or skilled in order to score regularly, just make him stand in the damn box and make it happen already !

Well if he just stood in the box, it would be much easier for defence to cover Real players when they attack in numbers. He is making runs and putting effort out there, also trying to play fast and simple. That provides space for other players. He' is not great atm, but not that bad.

Lol bring back Raul? Honestly don't know anyone that hasn't been suggested here already. Valdez from Hercules would be a healthy alternative I think, extremely hard working player and very cheap. You could maybe even keep him after summer if you want. But all in all if you're looking to bench Benzema Adebayor might be your best option, and you could even get an option to buy on him.

same for klose,Gekas and Valdez... Valdano said we need a striker for 6-9 month only , he said that Adebarndoor was rejected for personal and professional attitude (ouch ) , fights with team mates ,high salary and big ego is the reasons stated by AS
in short we need a totally out of favor striker who has experience , people like Amauri,Crespo and co may fit the bill ..i would have said Trezguet but he is already taken .
looks like we will get Sazlai back unless it's a negotiation tactic
