He is far from being ironic. I speak Spanish as well and virtually every big Spanish paper have the same conclusion (that he was not ironic).

Him being an idiot/not very clever is nothing new, mind you so your reaction is pretty strange.

Apart from that I like him very much as a player and have nothing against him as long as he keeps stupid remarks, such as the one discussed right now, for himself.

Whether he is right or not does not matter. It is a stupid thing to say. Ever heard Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Maradona (when not on crack), Federer etc. saying something alike?

Whether he was tackled badly or not (I have seen the picture on Marca) or not does not matter. It is still a pointless and unnecessary comment. I mean it's not the first or last time that one of the games best players is treated harshly by his opponents who afterwards get away with it too easily. Not even going to mention names. Noone of them (other top players) have made such pathetic comments (as I recall of late) afterwards even though they easily could have done so.

And this is coming from a person who actually like Ronaldo as a player and have no problem with him at all (apart from his stupid remarks from time to time)

If anything at all, after all Granero has made enormous improvements in his game under Mourinho, he wouldn't move to a third rate team, unless we decide to keep Lass and buy another player into his spot to overload 4-3-3 rotation and send him to the stands.
