As Mou said, just because he didn't play in two games this season doesn't mean that he is out of first team considerations. Although I do think it would be better for him to move somewhere if he wants regular starts. He isn't going to fit in as good as Carvalho no matter that he is younger and fitter, and will sustain the whole season.
