Loving it. Barca´s success is satisfying because they have done it the right way and RM try to buy success. All this historical ´Galactico´stuff means feck all, it is buying success. To do it with teams you have built yourself is way more satisfying and admirable. Hope they are suffering, they deserve it

No I don't agree. I don't follow RM matters all that closely but IMO Madrid doesn't necessarily need the biggest name out there. It needs someone to make it click and bind as a team and inject the right attitude and however many leagues and CLs he's got under his belt Mou does not seem the guy for it. RM needs someone who sees best for RM before his personal glory and that's all that Mou is not about. It's not the best of examples ,I know, but Mou could not do what Pep has done for us And who was Pep when Barca was also interviewing Jose Mourinho at the time, I say again it's not really a good example but you get the point. the way Madrid is looking at the situation as a whole is wrong imo.

Wow. There are so many socios freakingly pissed off with Mourinho on the General Meeting day. I didn't expect there are so many unhappy people accusing Perez & Mourinho for trashing Madrid's image. It really may be 'make it or break it' for Mourinho this year.

10k new seats, 1500 new parking spaces, all seating areas covered with a roof, modern design (just as you see it on the graphical presentation), stadium will use renewable energy from solar panels.

New stadium coverage will also use up some city owned areas. It will spread out to the green areas at La Castellana. Down at La Castellana there will also be a new 5-star hotel and shopping centre. Also, the VIP seating area will be moved to the Castellana stand. You can also see that Calle del Padre Damian will be renovated, some of the buildings will be used as a Bernabeu area and shops will be moved elsewhere to create a new green space.

The whole project will cost between 120-200 million euros. It is expected to be completed between autumn 2013 and spring 2014.
