I don't understand why you all are surprised with him rating Ozil above Messi. It's always his teammates that come in the first place. What surprised me though is the him not including Pep in his votes. I can understand him putting Mourinho first and Del Bosque second, but Villas Boas above Pep?? that's just ridiculous from him.

Not saying that he should be above Pep but tbh AVB had a great season with Porto.

League, Cup, and the Europa, all in his first season in charge. Pretty impressive...

Are you sure that's credible anyway? I could be confusing this with something else but I thought you weren't allowed to vote for your own countrymen (so how could he vote for Del Bosque). Or does that only apply to picking players and not coaches. It could also explain why he doesn't pick Xavi or Iniesta.

I think that rule was changed this year, but Casillas wasn't aware of it.
