You don't expect him to name Barcelona players. But what's really interesting: How does he think Özil > Xabi Alonso? The latter must be THE most important Real Madrid player after all. Yes, you can even replace Ronaldo to get the job done. Higuain and Benzema are 2 very prolific goalscorers. But there is simply no replacement for Xabi Alonso in that team of the same quality. Whenever he doesn't play, they look disorganised as fuck. As a matter of fact, there is no one bar Xavi and Iniesta better than him in CM position in Europe. So even if Perez would go to splash out another € 50 million, he couldn't get anyone as good as Alonso. While there is a shitload of #10s out there as good or even better than Özil in Europe Real could get. Silva would be the most obvious one. Sneijder and Mata that they've got rid of. An injury free Kaka as well. Özil would be replaceable. Xabi Alonso is not.

I have no problem with Cristiano being no 1 on Iker's list, but I would have preferred not to have voted Messi at all than to see Ozil in front of him. The german was one of the're best players last year(next to CR, Pepe, Xabi and Iker), but this year his performances have been dissapointing.
