Drogba will be a free player this season. But MD says , his agent offered the player to Barca. I am sure Mourinho can get him as we won't be interested and Drogba is more of a Madrid like player. Plus old relation with Mourinho may add something to it.

Come again??? You really believe Real will splash out some 61m € for Javi Martínez, some 45-50m € for Lucas & some 40-50m € for Hazard??? Seriously???

I don't buy this going to happen...personally, i think the most likely scenario is, that Mourinho will buy like he did last summer...low profile, on the cheap and maybe with some future. So i expect several more Altintops or Carvalhos joining...going by the names of Drogba, Adebayor to name some

IMO, it should not be building around 1 player only!!! That player doesn't perform or is injured, you're whole system goes down the toilett. I think it should be more like building a connection between several players and work on having more alternatives than lust letting Di María & Cristiano run down the wings or hope on Özil not disappearing and a nice pass of him.
If we're being honest, Xabi is defeated from the role he has been forced to play over the last two seasons. His creativity, once his fulcrum on defense and offense, now sits backseat to Mourinho's tactics for him of pure defending. Xabi doesn't like it and it shows. He's only playing nice because he is winning, but that doesn't mean he will reach his true potential if he continues in that vein. His lack of intensity on the creative side isn't his fault, and all this cause for alarm from the Xabi's and Khedira's of this world is a self-inflicted wound, and due to that now you find yourself hoofing the ball forward for your greyhounds when Ozil or Kaka come up missing.

It used to be that Xabi would help provide much of that offensive spark just as much as defensive work, now he seems a shell of his former self. He plays as though he has a pair of handcuffs on. Real talk.

The funny thing about it is, Mourinho keeps playing him the same way and the creative burden gets worse on the Kaka's and the Ozil's. Partner Alonso with Khedira and it's just stone cold disaster and all you will get is defense. Unless the word gets sent down from Mou down to Karanka to allow Xabi to express his natural talents, he will keep on playing tense and disruptive football. With Mourinho choosing to defend against Bayern instead of going for the kill in the first leg, I don't anticipate anything changing here. It suits Mourinho too well, and as important as Xabi is to your system, he is below Mourinho in pecking order, so he'll have to suck it up and do what he's told.

Real are designed to play in attack mode. If there is a team that holds the ball well and has smart people running the midfield than they get in trouble defensively esp because they play with a high line.

I don't know if this has already been posted on here but according to Cadena SER,Jose wants to throw out Zidane come end of the season because the latter apparently has done nothing about 'bad refereeing' which is allegedly what Jose in part intended for him under the guise of DoF.If Jose can call the shots throughout all levels of Real's tiers of management then quite frankly,Perez will sooner or later live to regret giving this clown more power than the average manager out there. On the fan front,Madridistas are adamant that this report is all lies and that it is Barcelona 'propaganda'

If it comes to Zidane vs Mou I fully expect Zidane to get kicked off. Mou is calling the shots now, I guess even Florentino cant fire him now.

Why would they want to get rid of him? one of the few sane people there and a legend to many, even outside the realm of Madrid.

Ever since Mou's arrival they had friction between them, the media reported about it last year but the club covered it up, now its surfacing again.

If this is true then Real will choose the pragmatic road and support Mourinho, since his fascist-like ruling does not tolerate opposition, especially not in his own castle.

Throwing out a legend in lieu of a moron whose only been there for 2 years and thinks he now 'owns' the place.I'll be honest,Zidane is my favourite player of all time and the only person at that club I have an immense amount of admiration and respect for.Jose's machiavellian tactics coupled with his narcissistic personality will turn out to be his biggest downfall, just give it some time:blowup:

Congratz on winning La Liga.
I maintain Barca is still a better team. Based on h2h and based on level of football.
Some Cules are quick to shit on their team since they were spoiled with all the recent titles so when we miss some, we are automatically bad. But that's all I'm gonna say about it, won't mention the refs and RFEF anymore eventhough even Pep couldn't resist to brush them just minutes ago.

I am happy for our resident Madridistas. Enjoy it guys and congratulations!

I really don't think you can say Barca is the better team, because its forgetting that some matches in the Liga they were pretty poor and deservedly dropped points. You can maybe say Barcelona have the capacity to play a better game than Madrid, but the fact that they weren't able to as much as they used to shows a drop in standard - while Madrid drastically increased theirs.
