Edmilson looked like makalele when he had Van Bommel or Iniesta playing next to him.

Point being, football is a collective effort, once he is partnered up with a mature player (not a youngster like Gago), his talent will shine through.

However as a long time fan and observer of football, his technical abilities on the ball are extremely needed and essential if we want to ever become that impeccable force. I could safely say that his work rate is higher than those of La Liga. Maybe it is what he learned in the EPL, but I rate it very highly.

I agree Raed, Xabi will bring the best out of lass and even more important, he can mentor Gago. The boy needs some guidance and advice, especially regarding which direction he wants to take his football towards.

I love how Kaka is everywhere on the pitch and he seems like he is the cool older brother everyone seems to look up to and look for.

I was also watching replays from Serie A, a lot of games for AC Milan, and I noticed that Kaka did a lot of defensive work and his tackles are actually pretty good.
