Well your cunning plan of leeting goals in at every opportuity is working admirably so far. Next you will be saying that you will be losing deliberately to lead managers into a false sense of security and then you'll strike (like a Panada on acid).

Numbers never lie Alex, we are scoring plenty of goals so we can afford to let our guards down .
everyone knows if Xabi didn't come out injured Zurich would've never reached Real goal .
As far as the first 3 games so far so good , it's the next 2 games i'm worried about with the injuries hitting the team starters & subs

In total domination and everything bar the finish. Actually a pretty good result for so early in the season whilst the side is still settling into things. Let's face it Beast, your lot have peaked already, the winter will be cruel to you.

Actually Adam what you are saying is quite reversed state of affairs it was Inter who are settling into things not you .
you only had Ibra as a new face , they had Lucio,Sneijder,Motta,Milito & Eto'o .

we didn't peak at all , i'd say we are about 50 % so far nothing more

I thought we were excellent against Inter who would have destroyed Madrid on the evidence of the performance they produced against Zurich.

It's going to be a long hard winter as Adam points out.

You won't score as much against good opponents and u can't let your guard down then

But the fact is that changing the fulcrum of our attack was always going to take some time to adapt to, so yes we are having to settle into a new way of playing to a certain extent.

You must be very worried regarding your over reliance on Javi Alonso given his fairly poor fitness record over the years.

there is no way you can compare Ibra to the 5 new starters in Inter especially that unlike Barca they relied on le Sulk in the last few years Adam , they had to change the way they ATTACK there is no certain extent about it you are way way more settled side than Inter
Lucio changing league , Sneijder played in a different formation , same for Eto'o and Milito and Motta
Not really worried due to the presence of Mamadou Diarra , the problem is now when both men are out .
M Diarra didn't lose a single league trophy for 7 years ..

I think we have a more complex task to blend in Ibra then Inter has. U are blinded by numbers.
We always played the same style and predictable game -> only creativity and speed could change that.
With Barca the team can perform much worse without a single player because we have to rearrange the team and tactics.
Our strength is the certain type of combination of existing quality players that makes us brutally good.
We felt it when henry was not there, iniesta on the wing etc.
We played as 1 organism with eto o part of it. Now every team knows to play against us, defending wise.
With Ibra our whole tactics change. We loose pressure up front, we loose speed, we loose "clinical" stuff.
This makes it hard to break down a defense. When we play Ibra as target man the whole team has to think differently, something difficult to do if u play in 1 constant way for the whole previous years.

Inter has new players yes but they have the advantage the opposition also dont know what to expect..the unpredictability.
And if they are quality players they dont need to click to score alot of goals -> look at galacticos.
When they learn to play together (which will come over time) they can improve. Mourinho has also lots of possibilites left to play or try with his new team. We don't.

Btw you talk about a team that can gell in the future. Who says FCB cant be better than what they showed now (other tactics, formations) and who said inter will be better when they find a gelling tactic? (predictability, depending on a certain tactic or player,...) They dont have the extreme creative players like in FCB.

i.e. i dont think real madrid will become so much better as it is now. Offc. they will find it easier to pass and do it faster but still when u lack quality it shows. U have a very attacking team that cant defend properly and needs big space to play.

Edmilson was the same with us for a long while, it's not all that impressive anymore because any player that leaves Lyon and wins a title or two elsewhere is given that stat alongside their name. That aside, I can't stand M. Diarra, he's a thug.
