Laudrup said on Sky Sports as a pundit a few weeks ago that he prefers to remain neutral with Barça and Madrid and doesn't have a preference either way. He likes both Real and Barça the same amount, but in different ways (or so he said). Personally, reading between the lines a little, and knowing how long he spent at Barça compared to Madrid, I see that as him saying his love for Barça is like a fine wine that matures with age, whilst his love for Madrid is akin to how a bloke loves a quick fumble with a cheap slut round the back of the bike sheds.

Because that is all Madrid are really, isn't it? Don't get me wrong they spend alot of money on makeup to keep up appearances of being a Princess, and they are to be commended on the coverup job they do. But when you wash it all away you see them for what they truly are. Cheap, disease-ridden sluts. Ain't that right Gio?

It does matter how he was let go from Barca..

you don't move to Rival team if u still love your ex-team . Michael always was and always will be a decent block who won't make enemies or fall into this or that .. but i think his actions speak louder than words .

yes we spend a lot.. remind me how much did u spend last transfer window ;)

seems like a Madridista emptied your tires recently .. :thumbsup2:

I think we 've already discussed this earlier. But, we all know his actual motives for joining Madrid, beast. Only when ur hurt by something u love so much do u end up taking drastic steps. U think he'd 've come to u if Cruyff hadn't treated him the way he did?
His rage and his desire to prove cruyff wrong made for a great first year for him at ur club but once he'd achieved his objective he failed and moved on.
"Michael used his anger to win the championship for Madrid but anger can only carry you for one year. That's why his second year at Madrid was a disappointment" - johan cruyff

Michael never had the emotional attachment with Madrid like he did with Barcelona. There were diff circumstances & reasons that lead to his arrival at Barca & later Madrid. Stoickov has been quoted as saying that Michael was the saddest one on the night we got trounced by Milan even though he wasn't playing and that Barca was the club he loved.

He knows he has already burned bridges by playing for Madrid, so i don't understand why he has to act neutral, Beast. ;) (A nice bloke doesn't play for his fiercest rival when he knows what the consequences 'll be like). Declaring his support or love for Madrid now 'll make no difference to Culés 'coz for some he doesn't even exist.
From what i can see, hes just being nice to u 'coz hes more respected and accepted by ur lot. Had Barca & Culés done the same, i bet he'd not put up this neutral stance. ;)

to be honest, it's bad enough what michael did in the 90's.

but you can almost excuse it, as it was a personal beef with cruyff.

but I'm pretty sure cruyff doesn't manage the FCB indoor team. so what's his excuse for that?

he's gone down in my estimation.

also

regarding trophies, and history, and such, let's not dwell in the past.

Michael is a very nice block , you never see him criticizes anyone or anything or any team
His relation with Real is stronger than Barca whether you want to admit it or not it's another matter completely .
No 1 man to replace Pellegerini, Coached Getafe and play for Real Madrid indoor team .
Cruyff words hold no weight considering the relation between the two and the justification the Dutch needed to give for Michael decision especially that Michael leaving Barca is still one of the highlights of the Dutch wrong decisions in his last year + (which was a disappointment -Ironically )
And Michael second year wasn't a disappointment .. at all

needless to say he is more loved by Madridistas compared to Cule's who(Majority ) won't forgive him for crossing

If only we can have the ability to pick when History starts... that would be fun.

Michael made his choice a long time ago , once you switch it's hard to go back the same apply for Lucho ..
even if Figo hold a personal grudge against Perez you won't see him wearing a Barca shirt for the indoor team

hey guys, hope you all enjoyed christmas with your respective families.
nice to see you again beast

i would love to watch the indoor games now with figo, laudrup, hierro, zidane etc...are there streams to watch??? i hear redondo is playing too.

good news as far as kaká goes, he seems to be in the final stage of his recovery.

MARCA is all focused on the galactico issue...having listed 3 possible players for the 2010 galactico yesterday and added nemanja vidic to that list today.

in order of priority:

agüero
david villa
rooney

the fans however still want david villa out of these 3.

AS on the other hand, is talking about the already meantioned canales, ribéry (claimed to be signed already), a midfielder typ fábregas (if not fábregas himself), filipe luis and one of david silva & mata as the targets for 2010.
with regards to the CB (metzelder probably won't get offered a new deal, his contract expires next summer), AS claim that david luiz & amorebieta are on top of madrids list for long term CBs.

Take everything with a pinch of salt these days it's the day of the innocent so lots of fabricated news around the corner

AS is more realistic in their news compared to Marca Grand plans for FM manager with a cheat code

thanks Nando :beer2: Merry Christmas to you too & your family

Gnegneri

immaculately conceived
That will cost some money, on top of the summer transfers.

Didn't Real have a limited budget that had to be approved by their members? How can there suddenly be added, let's say, 20 million for transfers?

well I'm not trying to selectively block what real have achieved out, but 20 years is a good mark for measuring success in the recent history. it's longer than 10 years so removes the johnny-come-latelys but isn't long enough to allow dinosaurs of a bygone age to claim that they are still the shit based mostly on their past achievements.

I didn't start out to prove that barca had won more. I picked a time period and counted the trophies won during it. I actually thought it would be closer.

No you just conveniently picked a period in which Barca just edges Madrid in trophies

I wonder if there is one simpleton here who actually believes that.

Nevermind, Hamzah would, even if he wasn't a cule.
