it's not about being a sub.

he's good enough to start for sevilla or villarreal right now. maybe not valencia, but they could then offload silva for big money and start him. and I've not said he should move to us.

kid needs to progress, which he would at those clubs.

You are wrong again my friend..

Did Mati Fernandez develop @ Villarreal ? Or Kerzakhov in Seville ? or now Negredo?...
It's always down the kid and the situation @ the team..
Seville don't rely on an AM EVER.. they play strictly through the wings and use speed .

Villarreal is very small and i don't see them achieving a similar success to what Manu achieved he was their SAF or Wenger ...

Racing developed for us Garay well and he is doing well with them and it's his home town

the kid want the play regular football and Racing will provide that now while Real have his position vacant in 2-3 years , for a Cantabarian playing in Real is the top of the table

I know it is.

those players failed at those clubs because they obviously don't deal with pressure as well as people hoped they would do (although to be fair negredo hasn't been that bad).

if canales can't make it at a club like villarreal or sevilla then he won't be able to make it at real madrid. you're gonna ask him to step from a mid-table team to a top 2 team. the step-up is huge. with sevilla/villarreal as an intermediary the step-up would be more gradual.

have you heard of this chap called renato?

they're doing alright at the moment! valverde may need some time to get things solid but they're not falling apart.

I think loaning players out damages them they should stay at the club and develop at the best facilities and players around them. If they are not good enough then jog them on.

Renato is primarily a CM than an AM Meta.. u know that he play beside the DM destroyer when it's Kanoute-Fabiano upfront .. only an AM when they switch to 4-5-1 like you saw in the Copa due to the injuries and Negredo playing alone upfront

Valverde won't do it like Manu.. they won't reach the old heights of Pellegerini ..

Meta Garay made the same move and did so well .. it's not a problem of the gap between his team and the next team it's down to the player skills , he is already playing above his team mates (not hyping just stating a fact )

no you can't not when they are that young , they need minutes and if u have good enough squad at the moment loans are the best option ..

IMO it depends on the players himself wether he will survive in a big club at a young age or not. his character and his talent. let's not forget that segio ramos did that trick after playing only a bit more than 1 season with sevilla. when he moved to madrid in the summer 05. he too was only 19y old.
so basically, there are examples where players did manage the breakthrough and where they didn't...in the end, you'll just have to try and see what you get. same with canales.

good to hear that canales is signed!!! the kid is pure quality and will replace guti & VDV in time.

good bye ruud...thanks for all the goals!!! a rolemodel of a professional player.
btw...negredos goaldrought is in deed worrying. if that'll affect his return in the summer??? second thought by valdano and co??? i hope he comes good soon.

also worrying is m. diarras injury run...if i'm correct it's all about this one knee. the one he got OPed is the one he injured during the cup.

imo you need a left sided player who is of high quality, and a defence.

agreed, but that's about to come...wether it'll be ribéry, silva or both.
