As that song says... Heat is on.
Still, 3 points in Xerez were a default and we always knew Madrid wouldn´t make it easy on us this season. I´m just not impressed with their ref talk.

No one is , there is a difference between slamming a ref for a game or a decision and slamming all refs all the time for all games.. it's too much

I still believe you will come out with an easy win vs Atletico , those kind of games (against all odds) are Pep specialty he know how to motivate the squad to make it look like you are missing none (see the CL final & semi final ) .
the games you will lose are the ones you least likely to drop points in due to lack of motivation and tonight game is not one of them IMO

And As are at it yet again, managing to find three "penalties" which weren't given

2 of the 3 penalties were 50/50 situations but I think it was the second one, that was really blatent and should have been penalty. Standards on refs have been really low for La Liga. We need a Howard Webb.

No doubt the standards are crap and unlike other countries when they are under pressure they tend to screw it up even more it's like giving the middle finger to all critics

No matter how crap the referee is, Fernando' Hierro's words still resonate. "In the end, everything evens out." And I am a true believer of 'the table does not lie'

THAT is legendary. Not because he 'has the balls' to pull out the Barcelona scarf but for the sheer cunning geniality of deceiving Perez with a flag from Real.

Ah OK, missed that for some obscure reason, my apologies. Still cunning as hell. :D More of this stunts please!

Wow, I have to say, as a non-Madrid fan, it really makes me think how privileged Madrid fans should feel for the squad that they have, I mean the signings that were made this summer were absolutely insane!
And La Liga is definitely the league this year, because it's basically like Iniesta, Xavi, Messi, Kaka, Ibra, Villa, Cronaldo and Casillas against Rooney and Drogba. I know that might sound like a shallow list but these are the players who are the real 'superstars' in world football at the moment, they are the biggest names. Of course you have excellent players like Higuain, Eto'o, Fabregas etc. but the ultimate big guns are in Spain for certain. Also I know I'm stating the obvious, but yeah I didn't really give it much thought until now.

Cause both Lass & Xabi had a yellow card , playing them both would risk them being out of the return leg so lass was benched and Diarra played
Manu prediction came true as Xabi is now suspended from the return leg same for Marcelo

I think Granero's goal really was beautiful. :p

You have to play Villarreal after Lyon away and Sevilla before Lyon at home. Nice.
