when they fight like this against lyon, without the defensive fuck ups of gifting 2 goals, i can't see lyon go threw tbh.

i meantioned this before...this time there will be no marcelo at LB, but arbeloa. completely diffrent story this time with regards to the defense.

It all depend on the way the game will be played and when/if we score, Manu gambled with benching Arbeloa in the second half and it paid as Real was virtually playing with 2-3 defenders (Garay-Albiol and Ramos came back to defend more than Marcelo)

in any case it's good to see Arbeloa & Lass take a rest last night as Xabi & Marcelo will not be playing and we need those 2 fresh for the game

don't underestimate lyon. cissokho can easily handle CR, kaka seems ineffective, only higuain is a real threat in this game for you. they also have a good keeper.

toulalan can control a midfield better than xabi, and their attackers are not bad either.

Smells like it's gonna be a deja vu for Madrid... being eliminated once again at this stage (the best they could do for 4-5 seasons). Fooling themselves with a victory with too many errors, and then BAM, eliminated.

Great win for Real, it should have been the same for us with a late goal from Messi, but it wasn't to be.

I really hate it how Madrid always seem to dig out the results when they need them.

If you consider Xabi is suspended than the first goal won't be counted so the answer is NO
