Therefore if you did not include eto'o in the deal you'd have to pay inter in monetary terms 70m euros.

That's what I'm talking about... This argument started with money spent not valuation I believe.

u wanted 30 + and the only team offered that much money was Citeh .
u know as well as i do if the price went down to the 20 a lot of teams would have come knocking

cause he would be much cheaper than the likes of Lisandro , Milito..etc

Valuation is based on opinion and the current climate. I don't understand why so much emphasis is being placed on a players valuation. The who'll Ibra - Eto'o transfer was definitely a sad situation from Barca's point of view. Had Eto'o wanted to stay, or atleast Ibra really wanting to go, the price for Ibra wouldn't have been as much as 49/50m.

But if we got that 20 million for Eto'o from another team, we would have bought Zlatan for 70 which boils down to 50 million spent? Now we just have given 50 and Eto'o to Inter in the same deal.

50 million gone - check

in both cases. I still don't see it.

Whether of not Inter stuck to their valuation of 70m if Eto'o wasn't involved in the deal is something we will never know.
