What i can tell you about the meeting that the club is scared shit to give De La Red a chance and he collapse or die than everyone will blame the club for it's decision ..
It's pretty tough situation .. on one hand no one was able to figure out the reason for his collapse so it's a risky situation to allow him to play again ..

Bollocks. Madrid want De la Red to retire on medical grounds so they can stop paying him. Theyhave zero interest in his welfare.

as i understand, de la red will have something installed in his body that controls his heart 24 hours. because of this instrument, doctors are able to tell wether his heart is in condition for playing football again or not. if his heart is in the condition to deal with the stress and is further watched 24 hours, the clubs situation changed a lot. it's not like they send out a player who's heart is knowingly unable to deal with the stress, which would have been the case before.
we'll see what they decide...i just wondered wether you had some inside knowledge about it.

... Robinho was the villain dropped form in the end of the season and was benched for Robben .. Higuain rise was towards the end of the season under Capello
like 4 years isn't giving him a chance ? he was the main DM last season ..

i think the club invested way to much money on doctors bills and time to be labled ignorant with regards to his welfare.
i don't doubt they want him back. de la red was great when he played and could add a lot to the current squad. but like beast said, they do have certain medical concerns.

you are still addicted to crap football news as your bible of football ... the rumors were driven by Marca who wanted him & Manu out but as usual now claim Higuain is a historical forward and scored more at this age than Villa , CR & Rooney ...
