You know full well that Marca is the mouthpiece of Perez and co. He gets them to do his dirty work.

De La Red played only 7 times for Real Madrid in the league before his injury in Oct 2008.

I get you, calm down

What im saying is the media have a lot of control in a situation. Thousands of Madrid supporters read marca. Can they not influence people and change their opinions of him?
People are easily manipulated.

Is Higuain off form? The guy missed 2 chances and marca want him out. I understand that marca or as are not real madrid, but they are an external vioce for the club.

The die hard Madrid fans know that Higuain is a star and your best player for 2 years the rest of the world ain't going to know that unless they watch la liga. Most people in England probably dont know who HIguain is. They read marca and think hes crap when he's not.

Regarding your second point, what you're saying is that as soon as a player is off form, they are sold?

Media has no control on the situation when it's a popular player like Higuain.. after 2 weeks of trying to load off Higuain with a strong witch hunt they decided it's a losing battle and had a big expose last night about how Higuain is World class historical player and how he scored more goals than Villa,Rooney & CR when they were his age ..

and no not the die hard fans know Higuain value .. practically everyone including every single ticket holder..if the fans had an ill feeling towards Higuain he would at least be boo'ed but that never happened and won't happen they love him & adore him ..
if Marca is the mouth piece (they used to be 5 years ago in Perez first stint ) Valdano wouldn't come out and slam them strongly for their anti-Higuain witch hunt ..

As soon as any player in the world is off form he will be sold UNLESS he is club icon .. u didn't keep Deco,Dinho or others when they lost form , did you ? neither would any club in the world unless the player is a club icon

7 times as in 7 games out of a possible 8 /9since the season start in September and he was down end of October which means 8 weeks in the season = 8 games (including the int break early September )

to conclude he did play 85 -90 % of Real games and was a starter until he was injured

If Marca was the mouthpiece wouldn't valdano (who run the club = proven as per our bet this season ;) ) wouldn't slam them .

Perez is the president he doesn't run the club ..

Perez does a fair share of running the club.

And it's interesting that As and Marca ran such a losing battle against gonzalo just because he was signed by Calderon, I mean at least do it when there is justification or any kind of argument. That's how the hyperdermic syringe theory begins..

In 2008 he started 5 games out of 8 giving him a percentage of 62. Didn't you also have a load of injuries at the start of that season? Either way my point still stands. From 2004 to 2008, take away one year on loan with Getafe, he made 23 appearances for Madrid in all competitions (so 23 in 3 years).

That is not enough to say that he is a great player etc.

Madrid did try everything they could to try a prove that Ruben's heart problem was a "common condition" and that way invalidate his contract. He would have only then been eligible for a monthly salary of €1,500. Even Raul and co were up in arms about it.

Why try and deny it Gio? It is common knowledge.

AS never entered the battle Ry , if anything AS was protecting Higuain on all fronts ..
I even translated and posted (Higuain topic )the Editor in chief article defending and protecting Higuain in the middle of all the mess .

Perez has no say at the club except facilitating the summer signing with his connections , if Perez was running the club Manuel would be jobless since November Alco game , Classico defeat or Lyon defeat

Well if you claim that, it's quite easy for anyone of us cules to make a counter claim and say he is running the club from top to bottom. How can you be so sure he isn't just waiting for the right opportunity. Sacking Manuel wouldn't make sense when the repalcements aren't available.

Don't forget that Perez has a tiny ego, the most modest man on the planet along with Laporta. Of course he wouldn't want to run the club after winning an election, buying all the players, sitting there every game, hating Calderon......

Nice maneuver but he did start in 6 games and he did miss some games due to Injury and BATE game due to his red card vs B Munich in UEFA cup

and we are talking about De la Red first team experience not when he was moving from Castilla to Real for few games *under Capello * and back

again after a year of treatment his condition and all the experts said it's dangerous for him to play any physical activity .. it's normal for Real to ask for perm. disability if he can't play football u can't keep paying 2 Million Euro a year . it's a club not a charity

Every cule actually predicted Perez to come out and sack Manuel after each defeat ..

the replacements are available like Michel , Laudrup or Valdano himself..

the more smart cule's ;) actually came around to what i said all along..Perez is not running the club it's Valdano .

Perez is a good boy now :p
