If Milan signed Hernanes then there is no possibility of any of the young Italian defenders Galliani is looking to buy, coming. And for me that is far more important as we need a transition from Nesta, the lesson was learned when Maldini retired and we were left with a gaping hole, who goes by the name of Kaladze.
