Yea the tackling was excessive and I was worried when Messi went down for a bit. That would have been a disaster if he got injured.

Honestly, i was not surprised by the excessive tackling Madrid resorted to. i guess its the only way they know how to stop us....especially Messi. if another referee was in charge, ramos could have been sent off for hacking down messi in the 2nd half.

If you are making your name as a finisher than you should finish it , i don't blame Gonzalo cause he had less chances and isolated upfront but CR had several chances and even the running beside Pique the later caught him

the one on one chance was the best we go and he blow it .. really bad game and IMHO the worst on the pitch along with VDV who did nothing (credit for Raed he warned about him many times )

Pep is rewriting history for fun tbh , great manager and you are really lucky to have him same way you were lucky he played for u . respect

Lucky mate ? When everything`s lost & Grapes are started looking as sour , should the buck stops at Luck now ? FC BARCELONA is a system , we don`t take things for granted , nothing is enough and we continue pushing for it, we had a vision ! What we are doing is just the result of what we strategically thought of doing & executing it perfectly !

Faith & humbleness ! :)

Everything is not lost for Real Madrid. We have a more difficult schedule till the end, plus we're still involved in the Champions League. There are more places where we could drop points compared to them, so I'd stay humble now.

Looking at the games for us, we do have a difficult schedule compared to Madrid. Our 3 remaining away matches are against Espanyol, Sevilla and Villareal.

immaculately conceived
But the home games are "easier". Really, with a good attitude + drunk of victory it should be fine. But the title is not ours yet, the pressure has just diminished by 50%

Also I want to say I was annoyed to see the Real of Ramos' first Clasico again. How Ramos did not get red carded is a mystery to me, and he wasn't the only one hitting it hard. Alves on the other hand was also ont he wrong side today.

Easy, easy home games for us, but a more consistent test for Madrid so i would actually say that their's is tougher.

Remember after 2-6 they just crumbled and lost like 4 games in a row?

Now im not saying they will lose there games but they are going to be low in confidence and the crowd will be demanding a lot from them so pressure will be immense.

We are full of confidence and i think we will be up for every match now because we are so close to the prize at the end.

Post match:

Cristiano Ronaldo
"It's always better to win. We lost, but we still have another seven games to play and we must continue to fight because everything is possible. We knew it was very important for us to win tonight, but that's football for you. The team to score the first goal was going to win. We are to blame for their first strike. Barcelona took advantage of a mistake."

Alvaro Arbeloa
"We fought hard in our two games against them, but they won both. They pressurised very well in attack and we found it hard to connect with each other. We should have combined more. Barcelona are even harder to defeat when they're already winning. Our objective now is to take all of the 21 points still in play."

Sergio Ramos
"We will fight to the death. We have to look ahead now and recover because the league is far from over. Barcelona's game was practically perfect from a tactical standpoint. We failed to kill the game when we had the chance."

Raul Albiol
"We cannot fail any more. We will try to win every single game and reach the 98 point mark. We will not let go of the title before then.

They will be praying for us to slip up and drop points, but the same could happen to them too. after we beat them in the bernabeu last year, we shattered their morale so much that they wilted away in their remaining matches. it won't happen this time around, but you could never tell.

Improvin' Perfection!!
Is that true???

Fergie ruined him. Trying to convert him into Keane II..he used to be decent striker.

who?

Higuain proves again he chokes under pressure, but still he's got age on his side so no worries for the Madridistas yet... And Gio no page dedicated for your highest goal scorer?

edit : got it... bloody search engine:angry:
