ivanovic isn't that great for a leonardo attacking team he is a defensive player. sergi its a gamble, either he has a great world cup and you can sell straight away or he has a poor one and you must wait.

Milan need another CB, so Ivanovic could actually fit there too.

Their starters are Silva and Nesta, but everyone knows about Nesta's suspicious physical condition, so I clearly expect new huge periods on the sidelines for him. Which again leave them with Silva + bunch of veterans and elders, like it was this season. (starting Favalli as a CB, I mean - come on)

Thiago Silva - Ivanovic sounds better than Thiago Silva - Yepes. But Hamzah is right - new fullbacks should be up in Milan's priority list.

It's kinda ironic though, that their manager is going to be sacked with 80 points from 32 games so far. Life is just not fair :(

of course. barca would struggle against the physicality of stoke. put them in the prem and they'd be midtable.

You are exaggerating Hamzah, I think they could quite conceivably make a dash for a CL spot, though they would have the Europa place in the bag.

But then again, this is just me...

True. Which is why I would be more interested in Drenthe, I really think he could be a big success at Milan, a new Serginho.

Leo will be gone by the summer Hamzah, Tassotti - defending legend for the club, will take his place. Ivanovic would be a very welcome addition to our back line, and make sure Yepes stays rooted to the bench when Nesta breaks his thumb playing to much pes again.

Just a little correction: Magath didnt win the league with Stuttgart, he was runner-up, which was still an enormous achievement with a veary young team that was almost relegated the year before.

thanks for commenting...yes, my bad. i thought it was magath in 2007, but in fact it was armin veh. however, i think we can agree that magaths work at stuttgart before joining bayern was a crucial factor in getting the trophy in 2007???

btw...i see you live "around the corner" in cologne??? are you fc fan???

tassotti, either a genius like pep or fail like ferrara. you don't know what your dealing with. but what he will do is stabalise because no matter what manager you'll win nothing for another 1-2 years. tassoti will stabalise which is good.

should we carry on in the milan thread i hate to discuss such a great club in a thread of this team.
