Benzema is overrated that was my initial opinion on him 2 years ago .. he is a good striker and have the potential to go up .
Higuain is a Madrid genetically suitable player our fans love hardworking players who sweat for the club (like Raul before him ) ,
Higuain CL stats is not good yet but so was his league goals till a year ago , so was his finishing 2 years ago , so was his lack of CL goals till this season .. see the pattern ? always improving , always working on his weakness .. that could be the deciding factor between one player and the other .
Benzema has a better ball control but he lack one thing that was associated with all great strikers and that is mental strength

I hope you are right . Higuain is a flop in big games , till now right ? Is that a problem for you ? But I am not saying he is totally wasteful , he isn`t . But you play in Champions league every year , pretty decent group stage games you had ( not that hard) .So after playing 8 odd games this season, he scored 2. . Last year, 5 starts, goals scored: 0 ! But yes, he scored against Mallorca , Almeria , Atleti but those aren`t CL teams right ? got my point ?

so I am basically saying , i) He doesnt contribute much in game-making b) He goes missing in BIG matches !

scoring in two different classico's aren't big enough (4-1 and 6-2 ) ? scoring in his super classico debut (River vs Boca ) a brace at the age of 18 isn't enough ?
scoring in Seville,Valencia,Atletico and practically every team in la liga in all occasions isn't enough

do u know how many games we almost lost and Higuain saved us on his own out of nothing ? a flop in big game wouldn't take the ball in the 95th minute to score a penalty vs Atletico madrid to save our season (last year running after Barca ) remember Getafe game ? the one Pepe was banned in ? who saved the three points with all the pressure
2-2 Getafe just missed a penalty , Pepe got a red and Higuain score a screamer on the other side to give Real another valuable 3 points

Isn't Atletico in the semi final of Europa League ? isn't Barca in the semi final in the CL ?

With a little luck he could have scored that ball which hit the post and moved across the goal line vs Lyon .. i blamed his attitude in that game and i was critical of his performance and the media got the best of him by hyping him before the game but he is young and as i demonstrated he always improve year on year .. i wouldn't trade him with anyone

and it's 3 & half seasons not 4 , and why wouldn't anyone be satisfied with the best goal per game player in all 3 big leagues a guy scored 25 goals in 30 starts (35 over all ) games ? hell i wish we could clon him again
27 this season , 23 last season.. money well spent and he even saved Argentina WC qualifiers as well

if Benzema turns to be half of Higuain i'd say good investment

edit : best goal per minute as Messi is the holder of best goals per game - update

Aguero has opened the door to a move to Real Madrid by saying publicly he won't mind moving to Real if it helps his club economic situation ..

that would be a very good deal , if we could get rid of Benzema and have Aguero-Higuain it would be a great coup

he had a very good first half of the season faded for a long time than back on /off
.. and u know damn well my issue from day one with Le Nose was the CL not the league and i did give him his dues when he scored (Finally ) in the KO round

in terms of consistency Higuain walks all over him every day and twice on weekend even when he is off form like the last few weeks he still keep scoring

Don't care about consistency, we all know Higuain is doing better in scoring goals in the league. It was about big games. The CL KOs and so. When he scored in the clasico, you were moving the goal posts to other games because it was too easy there. Now you use the same game to bring evidence to the plate that Higuain does score in the big games.

Now I will try to defend my posts, you know it's getting fishy so you will bring up things that are irrelevant, you will rephrase your previous answers, ... and on and on till we have a dance of about 50 posts.

Higuain was never in doubt regarding scoring in big games .. his only problem was his Zero CL goals (which was a normal thing considering the previous season Ruud & Raul were the main starters ) he started this year with 2 goals in the group stage .. and as usual he gets better

as for moving posts and moving shit .. u know better about that since that's all you've been doing the last 3 month without anyone bothering

Why would you want to get rid of Benzema after a 32 m deal signing ? Wouldn`t it be insane to a player`s career ? You haven`t given him enough chances ? After 3 & half season in Real Madrid , you will still wait for his `break through` season , I mean Higuain`s `break through` season ? IF it was Villa playing upfront & have had the same chances of what Higuain got , he would have been a Pichichi candidate for sure !


Another thing I wanna ask,

But nowdays , it`s only depending on one striker & that is creating too much pressure..I am not saying you to buy another striker , you already have a solid back up ..... why don`t you use him instead you are trying to get rid of him ? and the stats + over gameplay highlights that, gio. you cant deny his crap performance in the el clasico (twice) and against lyon (twice)
