I dont understand why people think Pellegrini has done a good job at Madrid,
1 point behind Barca, lost to them twice home and away.
Knocked out of the coppa by a village team.
Knocked out of the champions league early against an above average team.
All in a season where they spent over 200 million and win nothing, am i the only one who doesnt think thats a good job?

I could say the individualistic brilliance of the players has carried the team through most games, and then in the crunch clashes when the manager was really needed, pellegrini failed to deliver and team was subsequently defeated and left to look a disjointed mess.

or I could say pellegrini has banded together an unbalanced squad to rack up a points total that would, 99 times out of 100, win the league with something to spare. and that the unbalanced nature of this squad and the over-reliance on the wildly capricious guti for rhythm and control has been their undoing in the bigger games.
