doesn't that remind of years ago when he had the de rossi news, that in the end didn't work out??? he new the news, but promised not to tell till it's official or failed

right now i can only think of 2 scenarios that could make gio that angry...and none of those two is going by the name of pellegrini, mourinho or higuain.

it's useless to guess though, since he won't tell. i hoped though, gio would at least hint at how long we would have to wait till this news hits the papers.

Not sure about Porto, but its a very different situation to then. He is now the highest profile manager in football, at one of the biggest clubs in Europe, and would be going to the highest profile club in the world - with its own army of hacks from 2 papers scrutinising its every move. There is no way he/they could keep any deal under wraps until after the final if it was done now. And I really don't see him jeopardising the success of that final for the sake of saving Madrid 2 weeks in what is a long summer anyway.
