The club has offered Raul a chance to terminate his contract so he can walk out free and earn a signing fee from his new club (rumored to be Liverpool if Rafa stays ) .

The Captain has decided to delay his decision till after the holidays and will consider the offers he received and also Mourinho (if the papers stories are true ) decision .

meanwhile Javi Martinez said he is flattered with the Interest shown by Real Madrid while Bilbao is hoping that Real Madrid won't activate the release clause of Javi but sit down and talk with the good relation (i kid you not ) between the two clubs (according to a Bilbao board member )

In the Lazio front Lotito has said it's impossible to keep Koralov if a bid from Real Madrid came

Considering our situation i'd grab Raul with both hands. So that will mean 4 strikers in our squad. Torres, N'gog, Jovanovic and Raul as our 4 strikers.

as for david silva...he's madridista and i doubt you could offer him enough money to change his mind and become culé - unlike david villa. be that as it may, my point is; the worst that could happen is that both real & barca make a bid, but in the end it'll be the player who decides where to go and his preference seems to be real madrid.

besides, if there would be some kind of bidding war till the end...i think real have the edge on barca there as well. players like soldado, parejo & granero are circling around valencia longer than the name of bojan.

i may be mistaken, but soldado has no legal binds to madrid anymore. As for who he'd choose, im not that sure. With all the national team players in barcelona, he might have more friends there than in Madrid.

If i was in charge i would sell Kaka for a 40 (around that price ) and Gago to city for the winter's 18 Mil .. put that on top of what we have and get both Silva & Di Maria

i dont think city is going to go for 18 million again. During the winter break, they were desperate and wanted to close the deal without negotiation (no time). In a longer transfer market, with gago out of the world cub and officially on the market, madrid can count themselves lucky if they come anywhere close to 15 million

Never heard Silva or Villa being described a Madridistas by anyone other than the press using some pretty stupid logic tbh. All the press (even Sport and EMD) seem to interpret statements of a player being honoured by interest from one of Spains big two into being fully fledged "I have supported Rea/Barça all my life" crap. Not to mention the teams players supported as children are often irrelevant in a professional sense, just look at Guti who as a young kid supported Barça, Xavi whose early years supported Espanyol, Raul supporting Atleti as a kid. Cesc supported and still supports Barça but it did not stop him going to Arsenal as a kid for professional reasons. Professionalism supplants any motion of loyalty you have to a team now, its very rare you get a player playuing for the team he always supported, more you get a player falling in love with the team whilst playing there. It is foolish to think Silva would not jump at chance to join Barça if given the option, imo.

U forget 1 thing perhaps? Cesc played for us ! ! ! ! till he was like 16, an age (or a few years later)when the likes of Messi, Bojan get their chance to play in the 1st team of the best club in the world :p

I didn't forget, it was pretty self explanatory what I said.

as far as i know, real sold soldado to getafe with the usual buy-back option. meaning, they just would have to buy him back and then offer him to valencia...deal closed.

the very same thing is btw rumored about negredo. it's claimed real will buy him back and the involve him into some offer.

Why would Silva choose to go to Barca? to be a glorified sub as he'd never start.

1) I suspect he'd like to be at a club where he has a different identity to his old colleague David Villa. As when they were both at Valencia it was the Villa and Silva show. I think he'd like to start a new identity at his next club.

2) He would easily fit into the Real Madrid first team.

So if I were David Silva, I'd want first team football and he will get that at Real. Even if Barca put in an offer for him I suspect he'd choose real for my first point above.

The buy-back clause is not eternal, its usually effective for one season, two at the most. Soldado's been with getafe for 2 seasons now, if real madrid want him back, they'll have to pay the buyout clause, something valencia will have no problem doing: its 10 million euros. Im guessing Real Madrid is planning to recall parejo for this same reason: If they dont, he'll become official getafe property.

Just out of curiosity, what makes you think he'll be a sub for barca but a starter for madrid?

nobody said something about eternaty;) however, the usual standard contract had always 2 years in it - i can't remember any sell with less than 2 years. which means, that the clause is still valid and can be activated by real this summer. after this summer - if real don't activate the clause - it expires and only then would real have to pay the buyout clause.

same for parejo...2 years. sold in summer 2009, buyback clause till summer 2011 => no getafe property till after summer 2011.

Why would he not?

Because he wouldn't want to play for a team where he would not be able to fit into the starting XI no matter what system the coach plays. Unlike Iniesta and Xavi he is not naturally a central midfielder who can play in a withdrawn role, instead he usually plays in an 'in the hole' position where Messi does. He won't displace Messi, Iniesta will play there when Messi can't, Villa for the left so silva can't play there, same with Pedro and Bojan...
It is absolutely out of the question that Silva will be arriving, the only person who could logically fit in is Fabregas whose natural position is not overpopulated by players in the squad.

I've good reason to be bitter as my football club is getting raped.

So please explain with villa and fabregas in your team, why wouldn't silva just be a glorified sub.

Silva would walk into the Madrid team. Therefore the choice is obvious.
