I've good reason to be bitter as my football club is getting raped.

So please explain with villa and fabregas in your team, why wouldn't silva just be a glorified sub.

Silva would walk into the Madrid team. Therefore the choice is obvious.

Did you miss the part where we said Silva is plan B should barcelona not sign Cesc?

Did you miss the part where I said he should not join the same club as david villa as he should try and create a different football identity to the one he shared with villa at valencia. Therefore he should join a club in which he can do this.

nobody said something about eternaty;) however, the usual standard contract had always 2 years in it - i can't remember any sell with less than 2 years. which means, that the clause is still valid and can be activated by real this summer. after this summer - if real don't activate the clause - it expires and only then would real have to pay the buyout clause.

same for parejo...2 years. sold in summer 2009, buyback clause till summer 2011 => no getafe property till after summer 2011.

Por el traspaso, el conjunto blanco, que no se ha guardado una opción de recompra, se embolsará seis millones de euros, de los que el Getafe pagará cuatro ahora y dos más en el caso de que venda al jugador a otro club.

Marca saying real madrid dit not include a buyback clause on Soldado's transfer. You're right on Parejo though.

Could you kindly point me towards the source in which Silva says, or implies, he wants to create a "different football identity" than the one he currently has at Valencia?

I am saying that for the benefit of his career he should not join the same club as Villa, as he was under his shadow at valencia and now its time for him to cement his position as a world class player and when there is a spot open for him in the madrid team, he should grab it with both hands.

Were he to go to barcelona, he'd often be a sub and will be looked upon as secondary to the signing of Villa.

Yeah because he's not going to be in the shadow of a player who enjoys the spotlight a lot more than villa: Cristiano. Do you honestly believe what you're writing? He's not going to be the start at madrid, he's going to be a mere squad player next to kaka and cristiano.

Take a look at how big of a star Xabi alonso was this year...

Kaka won't be there next season and he won't be competing with cronaldo at all.

This is the main difference.

Madrid will buy David Silva to slot straight into their first team. Barcelona will buy him to strengthen their squad.

If I was Silva and seeing my ex-team mate join Barca I'd be more inclined to join Madrid.

First off, what makes you think Kaka wont be there? i don't follow your reasoning, your're saying that if your long-time team mate and friend leaves your club and, given the choice to follow him, you'd choose to go his team's rivals instead? Silva was never in Villa's shadow. Thats like saying Xavi is in Messi's shadow: Makes no sense at all.
