Although not yet officially announced his arrival at Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho seems to already engage in the recruitment of summer Merengue.

According to El Mundo Deportivo, who is still coach of Inter Milan reportedly asked the president Florentino Perez Madrid block any departure from Karim Benzema (22, 27 games in La Liga in 2009-10, 8 goals). Announced be leaving for England (Manchester United, Chelsea) and Italy (Milan, Juventus Turin), the French striker could therefore see the situation evolve with the arrival of Real Soft on the bench.

Don't hold your breath , the only way he would stay if Higuain wants to leave and we receive a massive offer for Gonzalo

according to MARCA, mourinho is of the opinion that there is no need for lots of signings...he's especially happy to have kaká and is aiming to get the best from/out of benzema.

meanwhile - and i seriously hope this is just a joke - german local press claims, that mourinho will take edin dzeko to real madrid activating the players buyout clause of !!!40m €!!!

There still seems to be confusion about the source. Actually a lot of paper wrote about it, but they all refer to a Wolfsburg newspaper. They however just refer to some (apparently unknown) bosnian newspaper that cannot be found. So its all kinda strange. Esp. as Dzeko is said to be requested by Mourinho. And then you dont hear anything in any spanish paper, which is also fairly surprising to me as i never felt that RM is doing their transfers secretly.

Dzeko was however seen at the Bernabeu on Saturday night. But there was some other club playing as well ...

Actually Tren Dzeko was indeed mentioned about 4 weeks ago in the Spanish press , but the current flavor of the month is Maicon and couple of serie A players ..
in Madrid case it's not an issue for the forward line with our 2 front man scoring a combined 50 + goals last season .
plus everyone know Real problems are defense & midfield .. fix those and the team will have a much superior outcome when it matter

I still see one of Kaka /Benzema departing with the later future depend on Higuain and his own ambition

yeah, all really strange....however they talk as if everything is done already. i guess we will know within a few days, since i also read in all that mess, that his buyout clause can only be activated till 31st of may.

regarding the spanish press, i remember that they actually did once write about real madrids interest in dzeko. however, i still hope this is just BS. cause seriously, dzeko is not worth 40m €.

Ok, but the news explicitly state that he is personally requested by Mourinho, which i guess wasnt fixed as new RM coach 4 weeks ago. But ofc, news dont have to be right or fully correct.

On the other hand Dzeko would indeed imo more fit to Mourinhos ideal type of lone forward than Higuain or Benzema do. He always seem to want a true target player, that can be fed by long balls and crosses, able to either score or lay down to his teammates. See Drogba or Milito. But i would actually more expect him to bring one of the two along.

Negotiations with players/managers don't really start when it's announced Tren for legal reasons , Pellegrini CL /Clasico exit ended his chances ..

btw...what's that about azpilicueta signing for real madrid??? makes no sense and i don't really believe it so, any credible source for that???

the english press is panicing about mourinho to real madrid...they claim mourinho is aiming at players drogba, ashley cole, lampard, gerrard & fernando torres with a transfer budget of more than 100m €.
