Here is your answer ^^^ , so why are you saying that his presence will be a "motivation " for your players which will make you prevail ? ;)

and you haven't beat him playing with 11 players in a KO round so he might beg to differ about the ref's help

So you mean that we did NOT knock him out in 2006?
Do you mean that a deliberate hand to the face (no matter how much pedro faked, becasue he did) is not a yellow?

Is that due to your recent Spanish identity ? cause i quite remember that during the late 90's early 2000 .. your "Spanish " flavor was as rare as Laporta saying " i'm sorry "

You were the "Dutch " national team + a crap keeper & Rivaldo/Figo ...

short term memory syndrome

Barcelona's identity has never been spanish.

there you go again, with the technicalities and limits. in the KO round as well coz we took inter to school in the groups earlier this year!

like zlatan had never scored in the KO CL rounds before, right?

honestly, beast, who cares?

we were seconds away from beating him COMPREHENSIVELY 11v11 when the ref gave a penalty because terry (or lampard?) kicked the floor and fell over. they scored the pen and drew 1-1. what does that change? nothing.

our games against mourinho:

A. drogba got sent off for kicking valdés in the chest. we won 2-1.

B. chelsea win 4-2 at the bridge, their winning goal was coz carvalho's foul on valdés went unpunished.

C. del horno should have been sent off for trying to kick messi's leg in two earlier in the match, that he got sent off for the studs up challenge he eventually did was justice (and actually helped chelsea close ranks, del horno was all over the place). we win 1-2 at the bridge.

D. we draw 1-1 at camp nou. terry or lampard kicks the ground to earn a last second penalty to equalise - awful refereeing decision.

E. chelsea win 1-0 at the bridge, bus parked, boulharouz hacking ronaldinho at every turn and somehow staying on the pitch. but whatever.

F. we draw 2-2 at camp nou. thrilling match, great last minute equaliser from drogba. carvalho not punished for trying to kick messi to pieces.

G. we draw 0-0 at san siro. nothing special here at all.

H. we win 2-0 at camp nou. thoroughly outplay jose's full-strength team 11v11 without zlatan or messi.

I. inter win 3-1 at the san siro, with the ref not giving us one stonewall penalty on dani and allowing milito's offside goal. and if you wanna be finnicky you could also say we deserved a penalty for the foul on piqué, messi was fouled in the move that led to inter's second, and maicon n' samuel should have both been booked and ruled out of the second leg.

J. motta was unlucky to be straight red-carded (busi conned the ref) but he was already on a yellow and a hand to the face, even as minimally as he did, is still a second yellow. so he'd have been off anyway. referee denies bojan a last-minute goal. we win 1-0 anyway.

the fact that he's had so many red cards against us (and that there should have been more) just shows how he sends his players out to play against fc barcelona.

What has our identity got to do with the question I put to you Gio? Are you avoiding it?

No it's a reply for your answer , pot -kettle - black .. you needed a quick visit to the past ;)
It's a temp situation for you & us not a permanent situation , when your youth team provided little you went elsewhere ..
remind me how many dutchies ,French & non spanish you had in 1999 ?

So the fact that mourinho's had players sent off (Deserved i might add) means it somehow gives him any credit?

That does not make a catalan club have a Spanish identity.

I'm saying if you want to debate with Mourinho about ref decisions he will put this fact

Hi MY NAME IS META AND I WILL ALWAYS MAKE EXCUSES FOR ANY DEFEAT FOR BARCA OR UNITED CAUSE I CANNOT BE A GRACIOUS LOSER .

Yeah i know all those "imaginary" situations .. also the rain that fell on your players were acidic compared to normal rain on Chelsea players
how
Suggest you make a topic about all the injustice occurring in Europe , Africa & Asia for Barca and how against the global population hate (except for 70% of Catalans ) you prevailed .. and how that apartheid denied you for winning the CL 64634634673 in a row and prevented your telly from going up to 70 league titles
.. Jesus Christ ..

Madrid have got so desperate they had to appoint a manager who learnt his trade at Barca. Maybe you should just do your preseason at Ciutat Esportiva and get it over with!

The irony of it all is that Gio doesn't actually like Jose. He is just having to put up a front and back him now because he is their manager.

Are we talking about the clubs as football teams or as businesses? And could you please point out which of Meta's situations were imaginary, without the snide, sidetracking remarks? Which, according to you, are the ones that, objectively speaking, he exaggerated and/or looked at through blaugrana tinted glasses?

The fact is that, against inter, had the ref gotten ONE of the controversial goals right, we would've made it through the final. Saying Inter deserved to go through when the decisive goal was offside doesn't really show a lot of objectivity.
