Mourinho made an important interview with AS and the highlights are :
- he will play 4 -3 -3 or 4-4-2 diamond with two offensive full backs
- Guti for him is out of the squad after he declared it publicly , Raul was quiet about his departure so he will have a talk with him .

- Maicon is a marvel a physical force , would love to have him in Real but Ramos can also be the best in the world .

- Di Maria was fantastic with Benfica but i have doubts how he can preform on a bigger stage like la liga , if and only if the price is right than ok if not we will not sign him
- Signing Fabio Coentrao is like signing the Portuguese Marcelo i prefer to have a different kind of player since we have Marcelo .
- on Gerrard /Lampard .. i prefer to have a 33-34 year old player in the team , they bring plenty of experience and if you can have 2 or 3 seasons out of them you recovered the money you paid .
- I'm fully compatible with Valdano , he is a great man and in charge of other aspects of the team , when i was in Inter i wanted Caravalho and Branca suggested Lucio instead and i took his advise the coach is better when everyone work as a group..
- i want 3-4 defensive players and i may improve the attack .
- Kaka had injury problems and low self esteem i have no doubt he can recover his form but he need to regain his confidence .
- It will be a great championship because Barcelona have signed very well and will be stronger than this year. I don't have any problems with Guardiola. I've known him for many years, I have a great relationship with him and I respect him a lot.
- on Laporta saying his son is catalan , my son is a fan of his father he cannot be a fan of a team that insulted his father for 90 minutes

Interesting, very sensible comments about Di Maria (glad to hear Mourinho has some sense, unlike some of the 'doesn't matter how much money' bid comments), Fabio Coentrao and Milito.
