Lampard wouldn't leave though, Gerrard is far more likely to go. The only thing that stopped him leaving so far was that Chelsea was a rival.

If they got Gerrard and a top LB they may even get some balance in their side.

He very nearly left for Chelsea and Liverpool were in the CL then too. Now Liverpool are even worse and the interested club is bigger than Chelsea.

City reps were in Santiago Bernabeu yesterday negotiating the trio of Gago,VDV & Higuain ..
They are probably looking to get one over United by getting VDV who's prime suitors are Man United
definitely i would be pissed but if Higuain is looking for his money/salary i can only wish him the best of luck we offered 2 & half times his salary and it's down to Gonzalo
it won't be like Robinho case , Gonzalo gave his all to Real and if it's his wishes to move than best of luck for him no doubt we will miss him dearly but won't be any hard feelings .. anyhow if City did take all three we are talking about 50 + 23/24 + 18 .. that's a total of 90 + million

No it's his contract renewal , Mourinho want him to stay so is the club all those rumors are coming from the renewal talks .. we are not in a hurry since his contract ends 2013 so it's not like he will leave for free if he didn't renew .. it's a matter of we want to reward him for his performance and he want to triple his salary (which is quite low tbh but that's due to his statues when he joined )

Not really , many clubs are after Edin and that includes us , B Munich & Milan ..clubs spread their transfer targets in case something goes wrong

I'd have Dzeko over Higuain because Dzeko seems more suited to the best league in the world.

Milan gave up on him a while back btw.
