Well remains to be seen Joao .. i really hope Valdano can stay although his tone in the interviews indicate he isn't a happy bunny about the selection with small digs towards the choice of Mourinho as "Style of character " RM needed instead of "Great manager " ..etc his praise most of it was about the need for Mourinho leadership and character than his abilities as a tactician

ireland wants to go to united, remains to be seen whether or not city will let him go there. my guess is on no.

united need a creative midfielder. they were linked with ganso. that'd be an incredibly good move for them, so I doubt they'll do it.

and yeah, beast, valdano is only still there because him leaving would do great damage to the perception of the project and mourinho's signing. my guess is he'll stay but basically do nothing. there's no chance he's happy with mourinho being installed, he's a romantic.

Ireland said he used to be a united supporter but he went to their training ground and hated it there, then he came over to us and loved it so he chose us over them. He's under contract anyway, there is no way Khaldoon would let it happen.

Mourinho won't play with three strikers at Real, so Benzema or Higuain will be benched for a fair few games a season unless one is sold obv.
