I had a nightmare once we had a sponsor on our shirt, and that we had a white away jersey but that was it

Love it how the Madridistas think we are all bricking it. Of course, he presents a stiff challenge and will improve Real but come on, we are hardly scared stiff and ready to bring out the white flag just yet!

And then you wake up.

pretty sure y'all said the same to me about piqué, or henry finding form, or busquets, or us not needing cesc, etc. etc. etc.

it may not work exactly like that, but I reckon that's pretty close to how it'll go down. he's said he wants to win in all the major leagues and also with portugal and he obviously has a boner for united as well.

Well I just think Portugal is too small and has too imbalanced a talent base for him to go all the way with Portugal. He's guaranteed to manage them some day, but if he managed to win the World Cup with that group even I would have to acknowledge he's the greatest manager of all time. I also don't think being a stop gap United manager would prove anything, he'd have to win the double at the very least to make an impact.

He managed to win the treble with a cursed Inter side, if he can bring back CL glory to Madrid he will have proven his "fixer" talent and want a more challenging job. I think successful or not at Madrid, his next step is Portugal and then perhaps a return to England.

Anyway I'm not scared yet. He took a year to convince anyone at Inter, and with more ridiculous spending proposals the Madrid hot seat is as insane as ever. He's also never handled players as temperamental as the ones at Madrid successfully, you aren't going to suddenly convince Ronaldo to defend.

well he won't be a stop-gap, that's the point.

he'll go there and continue winning things, to prove that yes, the club can win after fergie.

I mean, the dude has been manager there for 25 years or some crazy shit. there are people on this forum that weren't alive when he took the post. can you imagine what will happen when he packs it in?
