I take it Arbeloa isn't considered an option at LB then? Understandable... However, IMO, I think it's a terrible idea to buy Maicon when you have Arbeloa.

They are different players completely .. one resemble Abidal the other resemble Alves (playing style of course )

anyhow Di Maria for 30 Million plus Marcos Alonso & Rodrigo (both from our Castilla squad ) , and Pedro Leone from Getafe (rejoice Nandor ) will be the second signing
excellent back up player

I stand by my opinion. He made some good matches but then again there were some that were less good.

But he was brought in to be a back-up player, he's too inconsistent to be a starter imo. Was considered to be your best signing, but then faded out. Compare him to Maxwell..

there probably will be a surprise signing in the position of gerrard/de rossi...i sense mourinho will get his oldie player out of whom he can get 1 or 2 good seasons and profit from his experience.
the player i have in mind is an old "desire" of the club and is also very cheap to get since he's out of contract this summer.
i expect the press to be over this very soon.

provided the press is spot on with its speculation...WTF!!!??? FOUR canteranos - marcos alonso, sarabia, rodrigo & alipio - could enter in the operation of di maria???!!! that's nuts...that's IMO just the same as paying the full 40m €, meaning: too much!!!

yes...i'm talking about ballack. he's out of contract, mourinho brought him to chelsea, de rossi is not for sale, l'pool are asking too much for gerrard, real don't want to spend big - apperently - so, do the math.

Arbeloa was one of the most consistent players in the liga last season hands down and he is better than Maxwell by far ..

first chance, maybe not his fault but that looks to me as he was trying to film.

but then, he made great matches like against Atletico etc, which is why he is inconsistent. some good matches, some bad matches...

Maxwell was La Liga buy of the season. So much better than Arbeloa. No doubt about that.
