Higuain signed a new contract a week ago he is here till 2016 so he is going nowhere naturally
If any forward will leave it will be Benzema , however those available are Momo Diarra (contract ends next year and he is 29 ) , Gago & possibly Lass

Not linked as in "we want him " but more "If Inter will ask a lot of money there is other targets in the market "

And you think that players have a potential value (together) of more or less 50 millions?

Benz if sold will naturally be a loss , it depend on Jose view if he think the boy can adapt or if he should leave to England where surprisingly French players tend to adapt much better than anywhere else .
his price would be anywhere from 25-32
Lass has some offers on the table with the range of 21 , Gago could easily be sold.. however a lot depend on who we will buy (the alternatives )

Well Mourinho knows Johnson well, and he would probably jump at the chance. But I don't think he is Madrid quality quite yet, but he has the ability to be though. But for us I am very happy with him and would love to keep him.

I think that if you want Maicon that may involve a player plus cash deal. I would see Rafa wanting the likes of Benzema or Drenthe.

Mascherano is also 99% certain to go to Inter too. So that is another improvement for them in midfield.

What Improvement ? Mascherano is not an improvement over Cambiasso not in this life time
he is hyped like all EPL stuff , he is not what people make him .. plus he is a red card machine ..
could be an improvement from Motta but def not Cambiasso

How is he hyped by the epl, when he really made his name in the 2006 world cup before he even stepped foot in england? How is a red card machine either? that is the biggest myth about him. He has no more red cards than other DM's. Cambiasso imo is not a DM he is a CM so they will play together. He will be an improvement for them. He is the best defensive midfielder in the world in my book and shall compliment the midfield in that team.

Based on last season form ?
Personally i like Essien (forget the CM/DM debate i'm talking about someone who do the job not his position but sadly he is injured a lot ) , Xabi,Banega ,Cambiasso,Toulalan
the duet of Bastian-MVB did an awesome job with Bayern last season as two holding partners , Alou Diarra held Bordeaux midfield together when he was injured Bordeaux went on a losing streak
i didn't like Mascherano last season , it was clear u needed Xabi which means he need a good partner to function .. Xabi especially towards the end was all alone guarding the 4 defensive line

Essien is better as a CM than DM.

Form is temporary, class is permanent. I am talking about class.

In terms of a player, whose primary position is in DM, I don't think anyone is better than JM. JM is better than Xabi, Banega, Cambiasso and Toulalan IN THE DM ROLE I am talking about that position on the field, not central midfielders. Essien is the best central midfielder in the world. Cambiasso is an awesome CM. Banega has had one awesome season, he needs to do it again next year. MVB is good but nowhere near JM's class. Alou Diarra is not in JM's class either.

JM will improve Inter. He isn't Cambiasso's replacement - he will partner cambiasso.

Again I reiterate I am talking about player's whose primary position is in DM, not CM.

I don't know what you were watching, but apart from Reina JM was easily our best player last season.
