tbh the more I think about it, the more the di maria deal confuses me.
he's a winger who can play in LCM if need be. very good, great, etc.
but a winger who can play LCM... uh, marcelo? I suppose jose likes 2 for every position, but it strikes me that you have other areas which need strengthening more than this.
also ronaldo on the right is silly as gols are his best thing and that's easier for him from the left.
but eh, carry on!
U just wanted to sound useless anyway you can
so now buying a LW which Real has no one to cover is becoming confusing ?
It's clear he will use 4-3-3 with CR-Di Maria on both sides
he said Marcelo will be his LB but he is looking for someone different to have different varieties (solid defensively LB )
Di Maria would be eaten alive as a LCM ..
---------------HOLDER----------XABI--------------

Cr----------------------------------------------Di Maria or vise versa Holland style

he also said CR must think more of the team .. so don't be surprised if his crossing improved this season

Maradona to ask Mourinho for advice?

Diego Maradona has revealed that he is friends with Jose Mourinho - and could give the new Real Madrid manager a call to discuss tactics as the World Cup progresses.
Though Maradona's free-scoring beliefs may be a world away from Mourinho's pragmatic approach to the game, Maradona revealed his admiration for the former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss who he met recently.
"I like Mourinho a lot [as a coach],'' said Maradona. "On top of that, the way he received me, we spent hours talking about football, attacking and defensive tactics. He seemed to me a guy to take to your bedside table and ask him each time you need something.
"I've got his phone number, I might call him.''
The Argentina coach also talked up Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.
"I don't know if people will say I'm arrogant but none was 30% of Tevez either because Carlitos thrills you playing...I love my team.''
Maradona said of Lionel Messi in La Nacion: "I believe he's broken the mould and is ready, let's end the comparisons. Leo is ready to go out on to a pitch and leave it (the tournament) with the crown.'
