lol.. Jumped into the discussion.. just because i reminded you that Xabi played the entire season as a DM and told u he was further back behind anyone else.. what more do u need ? if you don't watch any games i suggest u got and subscribe instead of your usual BS , there is no argument better than where he played for 38 leagues games + the 8 games of Europe is there ?
.. seriously you are the last person to take about hypocrisy ..
As for lassm He left Chelsea & Arsenal cause he needed more minutes .. and he found that in Pompey , he was a star and RM fans favorite player the season before the last with 91 % votes ahead of Iker & higuain .. but we seem to love flops
He had no problem with Mourinho except the game time but there was nothing unprofessional about his behavior with them and what happened with Pellegrini happened with all the rest of the players Gago (4 month out ) Granero (1.5 month and 1 month spread over two periods ) Guti 2 + month from Alco game and back vs Depor , Kaka Lyon till the vanishing of his "Mysterious " illness , Benzema..etc the list goes on , it's the way Pellegrini operated
for someone who live in Spain you should know the ABC of rumors , the moment the player is out of favor the machine start to justify the possible decision to sell him and that flop /unprofessional Lass has several offers from Spurs & United topping what we paid for him
what a flop .. i wish all our players are flops like him
Take your head out of your ass for some fresh air , i can smell it from here
And again, the Xabi Alonso argument was that he was not a real DM. His BEST years were with a bodyguard, playing as an organizer with some defensive responsibilities, i also pointed out i did not really care how pelegrini chose to waste Xabi alonso's abilities and that neither Del Bosque, Aragones OR Benitez considered him a lone DM and had never successfully played him as such. Your counterarguments to that were Pelegrini playing him as a DM (with great success, how many important matches did Madrid win again?) and:
anyhow U & Meta posts are clear.. it has nothing to do with Xabi.. it has everything to do with the flirting with disaster Busquets who's backpass/missed header gave the Swiss the goal ..
At no point did you even try to discuss Xabi Alonso's role in the national team, not once did you look past the fact that Alonso's a Real Madrid player and Busquets a Barcelona player, you didn't even try to analyze a Spanish team without Alonso. Because, you know, the threat in which i posted my views on Alonso was a world cup threat.
As for lass, no one's denying he was a great player his first season. His second, however, was the complete opposite. He went from being a key Madrid player to being the 2nd Sub. At the end of the 2008/2009 season, his name always came up when talking about the top DM players in the world whereas this summer he's not even considered when talking about potential madrid transfers. He went from semi-unknown to world class to 2nd sub, squad player in a 18 month span. Was he a flop his first 6 months as a Madrid player? of course not, he was brilliant. Was he brilliant this season? not even close.
