Up to Jose to decide on Pedro , he could stay for an extra year in Getafe and come back next season .

regarding Mosquera i never trusted him maybe in Getafe we can see if he can cut it with Real
i support the Maicon dropping if Inter will keep requesting crazy money the same way they dropped Gerrard
i still feel we will get Maicon but i hope for a correct fee , i like where we are heading this transfer season

By saying that Granero/VdV could have to leave I meant that there might not (and probably won't) be enough room in the squad for all of the midfielders ? Why bring wingers if we have no full back who can play with left foot to the extent that we need ? Marcelo/Drenthe are not an option, no question. Filling our squad with unnecessary players will not help us (unless it's less than 8mln euro, then I don't care if Leon will be benched).

Pedro will arrive for 7 Mil so don't worry about that , awesome price for one of the best playmaker/wingers last season .
both VDV,Granero excelled in the center , VDV don't have the pace for the winger position and unless a new central box to box midfielder arrive i don't see VDV leaving .
bare in mind that UEFA required a certain number of home grown players to register for UEFA CL competition and with Guti-Raul both out we cannot afford to let go of Granero
i think VDV could get us a nice amount of money which will see him leave the club and possibly Diarra or Gago but it's up to Jose to decide

Wasn't Diarra a box-to-box mid while playing in Lyon ? I'm not sure, but I think he was more offensive and he has also shown some moves in Madrid. I remember the game he got back from injury and was allowed to play against some trash team (I think it was Valladolid) and he did some turns on the ball, quick one-twos, I was literally amazed and my mates were also saying "What the hell has happened to him ? He's got moves :thumbsup2:" Probably now he would be too old and kind of slow to play box-to-box for the whole match, but I probably would give him the chance of regaining his position. It's his last chance and Mourinho would be dumb if he didn't want to try such a determined guy out.

Lass has already shown that he can't be a proper playmaker. Too much offensive game gets him confused. He should be the anchor guy just like he was when he joined.

+ about homegrown guys. That's the whole point of me being unsure about buying Leon. Guti will be gone for sure anyway (I just wish that he ends career, because I wouldn't want to see him in a different shirt at all :(), but Raul ? If Raul leaves then we're in trouble having only 2 strikers. Well, unless Mourinho will want to waste Ronaldo's potential if somehow both of them are unable to play. I think Raul should stay one more year. It's a chance for him to go out by actually having a good chance to win a cup and he could build that team up on his leading terms.
About Granero, the guy is a waste as a box-to-box. I'd like to see him being a playmaker covering the wing in the main part. It could possibly lead him to battle for a place in the team for good. How many homegrown people do we have without our wonderful grandads? Granero, Arbeloa, Iker... ?

No Momo Diarra was a DM , pure DM Essien/Juninho had the offensive role , he is far from being a box to box midfielder ..
Diarra would/should play instead of Xabi as a DM and release Xabi as a holding midfielder unlike last season where he played as a DM all season behind the craps like Gago .
Lass Diarra i really don't know what's going on with him with the illness i don't even know if we can find a buyer .
we will have new blood in that position but we are taking things slow
i wanted Guti to retire but he can make couple of million in a different league and try out something new , his game is based on passing (much like Xavi ) so growing old won't hurt him if he kept his mouth shut i'm sure Jose would have picked him to stay he love those game changers second half subs .
Raul is finished , he is a legend and will always be but he can't give anymore i fully support the move as for the strikers read the direction
we bought two wingers and a potential LM/AM plus CR which means our game will either be 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 in both cases you will use one striker which is Higuain or Benzema so we don't need an extra forward who will demand time and will be pain to watch due to Raul losing his pace .
Granero in the central role was better last season than a winger , he can be an AM but he need to be consistent
the home grown players are players registered for 3 seasons by the national FA before they reached the age of 21 so i believe Ramos,Arbeloa,Iker,Xabi,Albiol,Granero are home grown players
u can also add Canales and Pedro Leon to the above names

Granero central role was a waste of space, because he was given a role of bringing the ball forward and work with AM and inside forward. Every match he was the worst player on the pitch (unless someone had a terrible game). Don't remember many matches where he was given a role of being a winger, but he was better there than in the middle and I think he has scored his goals while playing in this position. Can't give him as much workload as last season, because he can't take it. He has to play where Kaka/VdV play, behind striker, in line with the inside forward Ronaldo.

I think we should keep Raul despite he is a waste of squad space. It's his qualities the team might need during the season.

I don't know if I should feel sorry for Lass. He was anointed as Makelele's successor and he delivered in the first half of the season (despite bad performances against Liverpool and Barcelona) and now there is so much talking about his physical state. Also, I've heard some rumors that he can't deliver during the trainings even before illness symptoms started to come out so it could be the problem of blending into the team, somehow.

Raul is a leader by example not a leader who can motivate players with his words like Hierro , Puyol..etc
the Captain role will be Jose Mourinho , we cannot have Raul at the same time
i totally disagree about Granero but lets see what will happen under Mourinho

About Raul ? True, but still I'm too soft to allow myself to look at him in a different shirt. :)

Don't want to argue about Granero. Mourinho is wise and should bench him.

Well Marca your manipulacion friends has reported that both Guti & Raul will not be conducting the medical for the team next Thursday instead they are given till the 26th of July to return which means they are 99 % out of the club as this annual procedure is done for the squad players

Agreed. I simply hope it doesn't happen. I mean, he's a special case so the procedure can be shifted or maybe he can complete it in a different time. He wouldn't be guaranteed a place in the team at all so he can probably take his time.
If he won't go on off-season friendlies then we can start to talk about 75% chance that he leaves.

I know i believe in him but i'm not that sure of his ability after his long injury ..
it's more than likely he won't regain his form for the level required in a club like Real but could do a lot better in a more slower league like Serie A
if he stay and regain form he is a rock in the midfield , if not i wish him all the best we haven't lost a league when Diarra was playing he won consecutive titles with Lyon and Real when he went down our defense was exposed
