pedro leon will surely have to play every game, though? this group needs a mueller. I mean oezil and CR aren't going to work themselves to the bone tracking back and making off the ball runs are they?

It has nothing to do with the board and everything to do with pep. Pep doesn't want the club to spend 20 million for players that would land straight on the bench and block our canteranos progress to boot. The board had agreed terms with Ozil and pep rejected his transfer, Mascherano offered himself to barcelona and pep rejected him and opted for a Cantera DM, Robinho is a done deal and pep will only accept him if Ibra leaves.
Rossell made it quite clear, every transfer will have to get pep's blessing before its made and, from the looks of it, pep has opted for a very extreme transfer policy: World class players (villa), players who are capable of playing more than one position (Adriano) or any player type that the first team needs and the Cantera cannot (reliably) provide.
I trust pep in every desition he makes but im unsure of the new transfer policy he's adopted. I hope it works out cause Madrid has played a great role in the transfer market.

no, you're retarded.
all the kids playing together lose in the second or third toughest away ground in the whole league and you think that's a sign they're not ready?
one or two of them placed in a first-team, how you would expect to see them this season, and they'd look mighty ready in any ground.
now I do happen to think we need a backup DM, but pep's commitment to the cantera (as well as not signing stop-gaps) is admirable and I don't think it significantly hurts our chances of performing this season.

the implication of Madrid getting preferential treatment from the refs the past few years is absurd.

Granero is hardly a RW and a decent role player but not much more. Özil can come from the right side as well. And Canales, while I love his game, is hardly a guaranteed starter at 19. Besides, better not too much pressure on him anyway, or 3 bad games could break him.
