What would happen of GDS if VdV is heading to Tottenham!?

If the kid's mind is straightened up after the horrible 2 years that he endured I'd really welcome him back :)

GDS is used as a wide player at Spurs.

Harry Redknapp gave a very confident interview about the transfer, VDV is on his way it seems.

Why man.... after all those midfielders you bought... why would you need VDV to do something ? It's best for him to have more playing time, not choked in the bench at Madrid. If you care for him, why mourn the whole season, you should be happy :p

Mate, I'm taking him too personal and you don't know how pissed off I was when I found out that Oezil comes to Madrid. There was no player in Madrid in its most recent history (2-3 seasons) who would be dedicated to the club as much as this man was. I can't stand him leaving. His heart will be remembered for a long time.

The curious thing is that he said he will fight for it in Madrid no matter what and you shouldn't assume that he lied, because he did once already. I think it might be purely due to the board convincing Mourinho to allow his departure which resulted in him sitting in the stands on Sunday. Van Der Vaart wouldn't agree to the departure unless Mourinho told him that he will not be in the plans for Real Madrid's first 18. Seems like no-one in the club is concerned about him staying there..

Nope. Some sides say that the required paperwork was sent on time, some say the opposite. We have to wait some time to get official response from both clubs.

I feel for VDV, its the same situation at City right now, they had Loyal, Passionate players, but their desire to be at the top has resulted in them being ruthless, It seems Ozils World Cup is more important than VDV's love for the club..

Corb, you're the biggest legend ever mate.

Check this:

1953: Those Harry Redknapp quotes for you, then: "It (The Rafael van der Vaart deal) is still dragging on. We have been trying to do something but we are waiting to see if it has all gone through and we are hoping it has. It's something to do with clearance. I think he was going to Bayern Munich yesterday for £18m and suddenly he became much cheaper. They let me know around 1600 BST that he was available for £8m and for that money he is a top player who will definitely improve us. The fee has come crashing down because the deadline is so close. He's a great passer of the ball, he's a top footballer, he will join in here and be a big plus for us. We were also interested in Ryan Babel, he was a player we made an enquiry about but it never came close."
