Delusional is exactly what Madrid fans are being at the moment if they think that Mourinho is the answer to all your problems. I honestly think that you have the weakest team for last 5 years, whilst we have our strongest. I also don't think you have grasped the Madrid fans psyche and by that I mean the fans that live in Spain and go and watch the team in the capitol week in and week out.

Madrid is not just a football team for these fans. It is a representation of Spain and everything Spanish but the current team is one without an identity. A team that started it's previous game with only 4 Spanish players. A team with a foreign manager. A team that is totally eclipsed by those pesky separatists up in the north east. A team whose number one opponent's are being revered around the world for their style, humility and character on the pitch. A Madrid that hasn't passed the 2nd round of the CL since 2003. A team that has gone through 10 managers during the same time scale and their main rivals have gone through just 2. A Madrid that have spent hundreds of millions to try and find an attractive playing style but still get booed at some stage by their fans every year because they can't find that style. Worst of all, this is a team that had to watch their rivals basically win the World Cup for Spain, a country that they are meant to represent.

If you are trying to look at this in purely football terms then you have really missed the point of the whole Madrid Barca rivalry. You have spent your hostory cheating and murdering your way to titles and now guess what? You can't do that any more because you don't have good old Franco sitting in power so you have to try and play within the rules (rules which you bend to the max) and you can't handle us.

You keep living in the past mate and bury your head in the sand, but this Madrid team is on the brink of going into the abyss. Perez has shown his final hand by bringing in Jose and when that doesn't work, where do Madrid turn to next?


And in response to your troll comment. Can I ask you why you post on a Barca forum and not on a Madrid one (Apologies if you do I have had to make an assumption here)? Is it because on a Barca forum you can act like an authority on the team whilst on a Madrid fourm your lack of knowledge of your club becomes very obvious and you are ridiculed?

No, it's not a Forum like any other. You're still a Madridista on a forum, which in primarily designed for Barça fans to gather around and discuss THEIR team and everything that comes with it. Reial Madrid fans have their own forums to be dwelt in.

One thing is that eludes me though, is you lull yourself into calling Catalans your brothers. Apparently you've never lived in Spain? Never have experienced the rivalry between our two clubs and lived through it just to see your team come out victorious while wishing the other team nothing else but injuries and complete failure? Have you even been to a single el clasico?

The day a Catalan will not be offended by a Madridista calling him "a brother" the hell freezes over.

I spit on Madrid and for those 90 minutes on the pitch, my Madridista friends become enemies and remain so for a few days.

I disagree with you. Madrid have better squad depth than you and with Moaninho giving them that extra 5% it can be enough for them to win la liga. Look at last season, they were mighty close and imo had a poorer team to the one they now have.

Barca too of course have strengthened but you cannot be 100% that madrid will not finish above you because they have strength in depth in all departments. Plus with Mourinho giving an edge off the pitch and doing what he does with the media then you are pretty naive to think that madrid will not be a force against you. Because let me tell you they will.

I also laugh at your suggestion that they have their weakest team for 5 years, when in 08-09 they were shite and 07-08 weren't great either.

They have incredible depth with a top manager, so sorry to burst your bubble but Madrid will fight with Barca all the way this year.

I do not doubt Barca have the better first team, but I doubt they have a better squad, and thus I think Madrid will win la liga. Am I sure? no but I am sure both teams are incredibly strong.

They don't have a left back, so where is this depth you speak of? They have Canales, Di Maria, Ozil and Pedro Leon that we still have to see if they have what it takes to make the step up or make the adjustment to a different league or culture.

We have two world class players for each position. Madrid don't, so again I can't see where you think they have a better squad than we have? They have a new manager, with a newish system, who has not managed in La Liga before and we still have to see if they can adapt to that as well.

They also have problems in the dressing room with M.Diarra not being trusted and Kaka being lambasted by the fans.

This is too simplistic... Their midfield is only a 4* (if we're doing it like this) but their front two got them to 30+ wins in La Liga last season and made up for it. They don't need to match Xavi and Iniesta to win the league.

As people said..with masch (many say the only missing puzzle) finally arrived, the squad is now complete

It's an excellent squad which can make an unparalleled first xi, but it doesn't have two world class players in each position like you suggested.

Piqué is our only world class centre-back; Alves is our only world class full back on either side - to start with.

Midfield: Xavi, Iniesta and Mascherano are world class but Busquets, Keita and the youth are not.

Forwards: Messi and Villa are certainly; Pedro, Bojan, Jeffren are not.

it lacks a bit of depth up front and thats a different thing from having two WC players for every position

Valdez,Pique,Puyol,Alves,Iniesta,Masch,Xavi,Messi and Villa

are the only world class players in our squad, you could make an argument for busquets, but for me he isn't their quite as yet
