Real Madrid

If Madrid doesn't drastically improve their game and become more serious, I can see a historic smashing on Saturday to be honest. We'll see against Dortmund tonight. Also a big game that they definitely don't want to lose, since they already have 1 loss in UCL and so many dropped points in league phase could fuck them up.

There are of course doubts about how big the game really is. Dortmund has a massive drop off. They've become the 4th force in Bundesliga, at best. Behind Bayern, Leverkusen, Stuttgart and arguably ahead of Leipzig. Madrid should naturally have a very easy win. But we'll see.

Daft takes from usual suspects that barely watch.

No diamond is not a plan A
No Bellingham isn't a poor CM, has done rather well so far this season

Calma and carry on

He is gradually turning into a 'deflecting' Serghei

El Gato

Villarato!
Nah, nothing there to deflect in the first place
Misremembered claims from past, then admitted 'yes Wolfe you were right that's what was going to happen and it indeed happened'
Made stuff up about Bellingham 'not coping' at CM when is doing just fine
Then went onto making things up about the role of diamond in team when is clear as day has been a transitional formation for season prior
Cant keep up with different formations being used for different reasons in different parts of the season, be it form, be it fixtures, be it unavailability of players

Nothing new from Birdboi
Rich to call serghei when himself has turned into a CapsLock bozo Youtuber-quality poster
Jog on

Not allowed to post in the Messi thread anymore so you'll probably like Temptation 2.0 a tad more. :messi:
KL might not admit it but he definitely missed you. I caught him keeping tabs on your redcafe account while you were gone.

You also missed an epic Mara v Jamdav debate. Started at around page 294 in Manchester United thread…

Maybe you're right, Gato - I am not arrogant enough to think my opinion is fact on anything, plus you will watch Bellingham more than me.

But in my humble opinion it seems clear that Bellingham is much better further up the pitch where he can hurt teams, rather than in midfield where he lacks the cuteness and subtlety. He's more of a weapon in attacking areas. That's just what I have saw from when I watch him, though.

RM just stomped on Dortmund 5-2. Interesting game.

Mbappe wasn't impressive as usual.
But Vini was god tier in the 2nd half.

Not looking good for Saturday if I am honest. If we play a mid block I think we can handle him much better. If we try the offside trap we will die by the sword.

Then again Dortmund are about 7th in Bundesliga and Sahin basically sunk his team in minute 53 subbing off his best player for a defender. We would never do that.
