Isn't it a bit odd Real Madrid with their relatively poor game and with their injuries is still in the fight for CL, LL and CdR, same as Barca who has impressed quite a bit this season?

Not too odd

In CDR and CL luck has saved them from elimination so far

In league they benefited as much as could from our poor form at the end of last year

I don't think they will hold on to it much longer

Yeah but they are already in CdR final.
In LL the fight will be on maybe down to the last final few matches.
And in CL imo they are already past Arsenal thus in the semifinals vs PSG....

Castilla keeper, Fran Gonzalez (19) might start against Valencia.

He is highly rated and a big lad (1.99m!), but lets hope the occasion gets to him and an in-form Valencha can take advantage.

This disgusting baboon received a 40k fine for threatening to cut a throat. Especially in today's time, where the brutalization of society progresses fast and millions of kids taking footballers as their role models, a ridiculous punishment without any learning effect.
A fine means the rule is only for the poor people. A ban would have been more than appropriate here. But it is what it is.

edit: When I watch his facial expression here and think of his behaviour on the pitch, I'm sorry to have called him a baboon, as I don't want to insult these animals)

Meh. Pretty privilege.

You're welcome
Fine is enough if we're real

Disgusting behavior but he didn't actually threaten anybody (I assume)
The probationary 1 year 1 game ban is nonsense anyway

They can just wait next CL for the league phase and concede the 1 game ban when they are as good as qualified already.

Throat cutting gestures are in extremely bad taste, especially with what @Loki says is going on in European cities right now. They are chaos and this imbecile acting the fake hard man and riling people up doesn't help matters. He's a worldwide figure and role model and behaves like an absolute fanny.

He's a top defender so I will not criticise his ability, as it is above reproach, but he acts like an imbecile every time I watch him. He was the same at Chelsea.
