Another talent that quite a few posters in here used to bitch and moan about our management for not signing... I have no doubt that the very same people would now bitch and moan at our management if they had signed him. Funny how that goes...

He's a product of the Mendes hype machine. to be fair he did well in Benfica's 4-4-2 system and Portugal in the euros, but you know what both systems had in common though? they didn't need to rely so much on his technical skill like he would at Bayern.

He's young though but so far it doesn't seem like he's a good fit for a team like Bayern or teams in general that want to dominate on the ball.

If what Semedo has shown vs Real a couple of days ago, I'm not worried myself. He just needs some more time to gel with the team.

Good chance Renato lacks the technical ability to play in a system like ours or Bayern. Semedo has shown that he has the technical quality to do so.

never understood the hype. i think he'll turn out to be a decent player just needs to move on loan to a smaller club. some were making him out to be a world beater though.

He is low on confidence. A change of scenery in a loan can do wonders for him. He will waste another year unless he leaves.
