Irv, I cant believe you brought this up without drooling about it. Robinho scoring the winner in the bernabue in the CL final against Madrid would be the most epic moment in the history of mankind.

Are you on Crack mate? No seriously are you on some kind of hard drugs? In what way shape or form does loaning our star player to you benifit us? I guess Leo Messi will be loaned to us as part of the deal. Because thats how utterly retarded that idea is.

thats why i said Barca are TRYING to get him on loan, I didn't say City wants to loan him. Read carefully next time. This answers your first point.

2. We don't want to sell him

For sure City doesn't want to sell him but then again did Inter really wanted to sell Ibra? Did ManUtd really wanted to sell Ronaldo? It requires a huge amount to complete this move but IF Robinho really wanted this move his pressure on City might work to get him a loan move (If City refused they wouldn't be using the "player power" in a clever way (as maz said) and it might harm them)

3. Until he comes out and actualy says "I WANT TO JOIN BARCALONA" then it is all media BS.

Few players, very few come out and say "I WANT TO JOIN..." they give hints (ex. Ronaldo: I have always dreamed of Real Madrid) (Ibra: Barca play future football, who wouldn't want to play for them) and if you weren't on some kind of hard drugs you wouldve noticed that Robinho is giving the same kind of hints

One thing that i meant to ask but forgot. After spending 46 million euros on Ibra in the summer. How much transfer money is there left at Barca? Just curious.

Who really knows? By my calculations there could be as much as 25m available but no more.

I can't see you having that much after spending so much on Ibra. But i may be wrong. Plus the deals for Maxwell etc will have come to nearly another 20m.

However saying that, it's not as if you really need to strengthen all that much. Plus you have a top class youth system which always produces great young players.

I've just thought. I was having a look through all the members who have commented on this thread and realised, I can't see anybody here who's profile says they are actualy from Barcealona. Is there anybody here who is actually from there?

I doubt if some body mentioned but I'm wondering how would it be to have Mauro Zárate on our left flank; he's got very good close control, powerful shot & can take on defenders with ease. To put it simply I'm saying he can offer what Henry offers us on our left flank... I'm not denying that Lazio president's recent words got me into thinking about this possibility :)

It's never been mentioned as a rumour far as i know, never seen us being linked with him, wich imo would be a great option. Suárez, Zárate, Ozil would also fit and Ribéry (ribéry i would love, but not likely).

We'll discuss that in transfer rumors :)

Maz lives there, I used to live there, don't know about the others. Does it matter?

i disagree. holding off a transfer bid from fcb would be a massive massive coup for them.

I'm talking about Robinho himself, not the club.

They might not accept an offer but I wouldn't be surprised to see Robinho kick up a fuss if he was refused a transfer.

This is a Barça forum aimed at English speakers. Did you honestly expect to find many living in Barcelona?
