Robinho

I forgot where I read this but it said that Barca agreed to get Robinho for a loan and if he does good they can buy him. Probably not true since both clubs haven't said anything but I would rather get Robinho and spend 35mil maybe instead of buying Ribery for 70mil.

Clubs never say anything until it's a done deal. So, that's not exactly too meaningful right now :)

Only thing clubs could do is dropping hints like "Robinho is an interesting player" or just denying, same time they're actually preparing themselves to let the player go.

And if it's true, that City are preparing a January move for Angel di Maria, it could mean a lot about the Robinho situation.

tut tut tut tut tut tut tut tut......

I can't believe you guys are still commenting on this Robinho bollocks. It's pathetic.

I know. Let's LOAN our best player to you in January, HALF WAY THROUGH OUR MOST IMPORTANT SEASON. How on earth does this ever benefit City. Because the fact is we couldn't care less how well Barca do. We would only let any player leave if it was to benafit us. Does Robinho leaving benafit us???

WELL DOES IT???

No...Ofcourse not.

I'll tell you what. Loan us Messi from January until the Summer to see weather or not we wish to buy him. Because that is how ridiculous this whole thing is. There is much more chance of Yaya joining his brother at City than Robinho joining Barca.

I saw Robinho on TV today with the rest of the City squad in Abhu Dabi. He was laughing and Joking with Ireland and Sylvinho. looks fine at City to me. It's all Media BS. Don't fall for their lies.

Man City don't have get Messi on loan to tell whether they want to buy him or not because every team would want him he doesn't need to prove himself . But we never said its true, and Robinho is probably not going to come I just posted what I read on an article thats it. So calm down ok

It will be fun reading back this thread when hes presented next month.

What Realy???

So you think transfers happen in December now

Silly mistakes aside. Do you really think we would sell a player as important as Robinho mid way through our most important season for 40 years? Don't be foolish enough to believe the newspaper BS.

Mr Lover Man
Well Txiki is off to Saudi Arabia for the World Club Cup, or whatever it's called, and the Man City Arab bosses will be there. No official meeting is set.

So who knows.

Why on earth would we want Robinho?!?!? There are better options out there...
- Villa, Silva and Mata from Valencia are all for sale.. caus Valencia has financial problems.
- Ribery is closer to leaving Bayern than he was this summer..
- Di Maria from Benfica.. I like this guy a lot and I think he would be a great fit for Barca
- We also have Keirrison.. if we need a forward so much.. I would rather see him playing than Robinho..

I dont like Robinho at all.. he brings bad chemistry everywehere he goes.. plus he is an ex Madridista!!!!!!
Henry is fit now.. so lets play him.. even if he aint scoring its clear that we are more dangerous with him on the pitch.. and we could also use Bojan a bit more. That kid is good!

Please God.., dont give us Robinho!

but I susspect its only a matter of time... :(

Lol some of you barca fans are hilarious. You don't seem to get that we don't want to sell him (or loan him )

Before you say he'll push a move, he's already said he won't.

I think Robinho would be nice addition to Barca. He is two times more dangerous on the left then Henry is. The fact that he is exmadridista should not be a negative, he would have much more to prove.

Apparently your owners are ready to meet our board to discuss a deal and we've already agreed terms with Robinho. I'm not saying it's true, just reporting what the press has said.

Hughes: Robinho will stay at City

Mark Hughes insists Robinho's future still lies with Manchester City after playing down talk the Brazilian will sign for Barcelona in January.

"I am quite clear and Robinho should be quite clear that his future is very much with City," said Hughes.

"There is no reason to think that will change any time soon. All those stories do not originate from anyone from City."

"It is people on the outside taking a view on the situation with Robinho which they have no real insight into."

In fact, Hughes is convinced part of the problem is Robinho's non activity.

If the South American had been playing, discussion of his performances would have helped fill a void. Instead, the space has been filled by discussion over his future.

"At the moment Robinho is not fit," said Hughes.

"But people still want to talk about him because he is a high-profile player.

"They have not had the opportunity to talk about him play on the pitch. From their point of view the next best thing is to speculate about his future and there are a number of people out there who are making mischief."

Today's article, with quotes.
