We definitely need a winger. Since Barca B failed to launch new players to the first team this season and with Henry's injury we`ve suddenly found ourselves pushing Iniesta up. Thank god Keita stepped up

Robinho or Silva would be perfect but not Mata. If Robinho stopped making troubles off the pitch then I think having him would be better than Silva

I`m afraid there`s little chance of us getting Silva. He would be perfect though as we could use him both in midfield and as a winger. Not to mention he`s Spanish, he would fit like a glove.

From a City point of view Robinho is begining to piss a few people off now. He has no intention of leaving City in January or any other time. These contradictory comments he keeps making are simply a childish reminder to Man City. He knows that both Petrov and Bellamy have both been fantastic in the position he usually plays so he is worried his position is under thret. It's his way of saying to City "You need me more than i need you". Well Robbie mate i'm not so sure about that. We love him here but we won't let anybody take the piss like that. The fact is Hughes has always had this policy where we only let players leave if we have already replaced them with somebody better who will improve the whole team. So even if this wasn't all bollocks mind games from the Brazilian and he really did want to leave, he wouldn't be allowed to untill another world class player joined us.

Don't you find it a bit funny that he only says these things to the Spanish or Brazilian press. "I'm flattered to be linked with a move to Barcelona" but also "I'll play for City for as long as thet want me" And now it's "It wiould be easier for me to become the best player in the world at the Nou Camp" followed by "I'm not trying to engineer a move away from City"

He is either very confused or more likely as i say trying to play mind games with Mark Hughes to make sure he remembers how important he is to the team. He'll learn the hard way if he keeps up this stupid shit.

P.S. I know this next bit is off topic. But what the fuck happened last week in the champions league? Barca are way to good to be getting beaten by that level of opposition. Although i pitty whoever you play next in that group. Somebody will be getting a beat down. Barca style

It's a strategy to eliminate one of our main opponents for the title.

We're giving Rubin a chance to qualify for the 1/8-finals with us, kicking Inter out of the competition. We'll probably not do the same thing in Kiev and Kazan, because we'll need the points, but with beating Inter on Camp Nou we give the other two teams a good shot

ACTIVATE PLAYER POWER. i think you've been watching one too many manga cartoons mate lol.

In all seriousness though Robinho has never once said he is unhappy at City. Quite the opposite. He has said lots of times how much he loves it here. His last comments to date were "I will play for Manchester City for as long as they want me" well guess what guys. We want him.

You heard what the man said. "NO CHANCE".

Lol i actually dont like manga at all. Im more a recess kinda guy.

And listen im not saying what robinho has or hasnt said. Im saying that its a variable that citeh fans never talk about.

If you mean Man City fans are very passionate. Then yes we are. Wouldn't you be if your club had arguably the best, certainley the most famous club in the world (Man United) Literally mocking and laughing at you as their "Poor relations" for the past 40 years?

Imagine if Espanyol were one of the greatest teams in the world for the last 40 years and Barcelona were just a small neighbour who's fans stuck by them through everything and deserved better than they got. Then all of a sudden some Arabs bought your club and said we will spend whatever it takes to make you the greatest, and then the very same day the takeover happened he bought Robinho for a new Spanish record fee to prove he meant what he said. You would be every bit as excited as City fans are. Words cannot describe what that is like because you have never been there.

Now that we have got a great squad we are a bit angry that. 1, A player we love is acting the way he is to stir things up. and 2, The media keep fuling these rumers even though our club have already said it isn't going to happen.

P.S. (Again) "Nice SAVE". It wasn't meant as a "SAVE". It was my opinion just like everything else i write. I just speak my mind weather people agree with me or not is up to them. I'll always listen and respect their opinions too. I don't kiss anybodys backside . Never have, Never will. ;)

I dont think man city fans are disillusioned. Citeh are going to be a force. They may not win every trophy, but they will definitely challenge. As CTID says, this is the club that has spent many years in lower divisions...they have earnt the right to feel optimistic.

See Real Madrid for what. Are you seriously comparing Real Madrids situation over the last 4 decades to Man Citys?

Mate weather you like it or not R Madrid are probably THE true giants of football. I've always prefered Barca, but you simply cannot deny who Real are. OK right now Barca are the better team but if anything throuoght history they've been the bigger club than you. I wouldn't say you've lived in their shadows or anything like we have with united. But their record speaks for itself. 31 times liga winners, 17 times copa del rey winners and 9 Europian cups. I mean really mate....REALLY?

I'll put my tin hat on because i'm sure a post listing Real's achievments will not go down very well on hear. But to imply that they live in your or any body elses shadow is just madness.

what are you, simple? you asked if we knew what it felt like to be treated with disdain from a more successful rival. As a FCB fan, there is nothing worse than having a Real Madrid 'fan' hold up nine fingers to you.

Lol coming from a family that has city supporters in it, being a city fan is much more like being a espanyol fan to fcb than a fcb fan to madrid. Seriously. What can a city fan reply with? Umm...err....well we won the division 1 trophy in 19fiftysomething. Fcb is one of the most successful clubs in the world. When a madrid fan says anything to me i dont care because i know we are everything madrid aren't, and i know we have the potential in the near future to surpass their records. I dont see city previously having much of a claim of winning the next 19 epl titles.

RIGHT. OK I GET IT NOW. (man i can be dumb sometimes) Besides. I'm sure when the Real Madrid fans hold up 9 fingers to you. You simpley show them one of your own

But still it's not the same. It's not as you are really in their shadows either. Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Manchester United, Liverpool... These are the clubs who have dominated football consistantly for the last 40 to 50 years.

We on the other hand have been quite frankley a fantactic club with a terrible team but amazing fans. Now we have a really good team too. And a lot of people in England REALLY don't like that. You should talk to Everton fans. They have been near the top4 without being able to attract any realy great players for a while now. But now we have lept over them and they are REALLY bitter. It's a shame for them but i'm not apologising to them either. It seems to us City fans that people treat you like a joke when you have no money and a poor team. yet when you get a good team they hate you and hope you fail. You cannot win either way.

The fact that Robinho kees coming out with "im flattered to be linked with Barca..." comments shows me he wants to move if the opportunity arises.
