come on dude you know what i mean 😂

You attribute every team success to marquee individual performances. This is not always the case. It's actually rarely the case. Based on your logic people shouldn't even debate this, hand it to Carvajal. Won all CL, La Liga, Euro as a main player and leader in both teams.

Even has bigger goal in CL final compared to Modric in 2018.

If you really watch this closely, Rodri did more in 2022-23, than in 23-24 in terms of individual impact. But he got unlucky to have Messi's amazing World Cup to compete against.

If you judge it over 2 seasons, I'd give it to Rodri, but over last season, Vinicius was better individually in big games.

In the end Balon Dor is also a likeability contest. Vini may be a nice guy for all I know, but he is extremely dislikable on the pitch and carries a ton of negative aura.

He probably did deserve it this term though. Rodri didn't even do anything in the Euros final and Vini owned City in Europe.

Saying all that, not calling racist but the last time this was won by a non-white (apart from Messi's half black leg) was in 2005.

And the last time it was won by a full black is - never.

Again, not calling the French racist...
I was going to hail this as your best post ever on BF until the 2nd to the last line.
Goerge weah did win it convincingly in 1995(+Italian footballer of the year+European footballer of the year+African footballer of the year)

Everything else I agree with. There is how far talent can take you, if you are not popular/likeable, you will be limited.

Yeah dude as is said these are the rules of Fifa!!!!!! Salah >>> Modric in 2018 but Fifa looks on popularity, team titles and a
bit individual brilliance

It is what it is dude we cant change it

Vini's bad behaviour will play also a role if he doesnt win

As @Birdy said a few months ago Fifa should define what the exact rules are

they have like 10 factors which decide at the end who wins it
