For me Justin doesn't have that wow factor in the vein of the likes of Dembele and Mbappe had at his age. He is still talented no doubt but not someone who a big team should spend the big bucks on and instantly fast track to the first team with a big role. He needs a few years to develop before any big team considers him.Of the Ajax talents i rate De Ligt and De Jong higher than Kluivert.
Both of those are also players that we need more.

I hope we sign him, he looks very poised for his age.
As for Barcelona buying Brazilians being a failure, let me teach these millenials about Ronaldo R9, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Alves, Neymar lmao.

1. I don't like loaning players back exclusively to Ajax. My point was that Kluivert is not ready for Barça and it would be better for him to keep developing at Ajax for another year or two but we could also loan him to another club if he'd agree with that.
2. Neymar was the best player in Brazil for 2 or 3 years when we've bought him, it's hard to compare him to Rodrygo who hasn't done anything yet in his career.
3. IIRC we've had a debate about Raiola in the past and I've said to you I dislike him so I obviously don't like the fact that he's JK's agent. And it's probably also the reason why we won't go after him. That said, Patrick Kluivert was my favourite player back in the days and one of the reasons why I started supporting Barça so I'm probably biased here as I'd like to see Justin also play for us some day but as said above I don't think he's ready for that yet. And you are right he's overhyped (but so are most young talents) and maybe he'll never be good enough but if we're looking for future players I would still rather risk with him if we can get him for probably half of the Rodrygo's price. But right now I think we should focus on our immediate needs (players that will help us next season) and if there will be some money left we can then go securing future transfers like Rodrygo later in the summer or even during the next season.
He showed some qualities indeed, but Santos are playing against the worst braziliam team in the league.
So both Segura and our CEO went to Brazil for nothing?
Scooping up and hording talent again, huh?
I just hope this one will not turn out to be like the Asensio case where we were stingy and counting pennies only to lose out to Real Madrid in the end.
This club is so indecisive.
Rosell/Barto shenanigans coming back to bite us in the ass. Best presidents in Barca's history folks.
We already bought Arthur for 40.
If we buy Rodrygo for 50, that is possibly 90m thrown on a lottery.
For 90m, we can buy Griezmamn or Thiago.
Actually, a proven world class players, ready to play and win right away.
Rodrygo, Pavon.
With that logic, we could go out and buy 3-4 young unproven kids each summer.
Or... We could just buy Salah for that money.
I would personally rather bet on Salah than on Rodrygo, Pavon and a random new 3rd kid.
But let's blame the stupid board for not buying every single unproven overpriced kid out there.
