That is the frustrating part. It feels like Barca are not a million miles away from competing with top teams if could improve at CB, DM and have a CF even to come off bench.

Exactly. This team is not that bad. We just need to get rid of few players and sign few. We don't need boatload of money to do that imo.
CF probably the most expensive part.
Pjanic, Umtiti, Busi and Lenglet needs to be replaced though. Coutinho too.

Finally looking and playing like a team again! The spirit and togetherness of this group is evident, and its great to see new leaders emerging like De Jong, Dembele and Griezmann. Getting rid of Suarez really seems like it has broken the amigos vs the rest dynamic that was prevalent before....everyone seems more 'equal'. Also great to see the kids getting so much playing time, and Messi seems like he is having fun again. Also as a fan, havent felt this invested in the team for a while.
Occasional tactical and substitution brainfarts aside, it been a great job from Koeman in a tough transition year!

Could hear Granada bench all night cheering when Barca missed chances and sure FDJ was having a got at them for it at one point.
