Ronald Koeman

No, Valverde wasn't among the very best coaches in the world, but he was still better than the Betis-reject you hired as his replacement, by some distance.

Betis reject? Come on. He took Betis to Europa League where they knocked out Milan. Haven't seen anyone do better at Betis in more than a decade. Made Las Palmas one of the best newly-promoted sides to watch in Spain.

Setien is not a bad manager, rather a decent one, but shouldn't have taken that Barca job. He was perfectly set for failure.

Ernesto Valverde is still available.

It could get worse. Laporta to bring him back along with Suarez and Aguero.

1 point from possible 12 is worst record since 1964/65 season for Barca.

Hats off sir, really outdid yourself this time.

Setien probably could have been great. He looked like a roman emperor but didn't behave like one.
I don't know if he expanded on his mistakes in the club, but it was obvious that he didn't go out on his shield. I wonder what if he'd have a better time under Laporta, or if his problems was mostly in relation to the squad...

We fucked around hiring two coaches and achieved nothing. As I've said before - we could just as well have kept Valverde and fired him at the end of this season.

It's not the question if we had a bad or good result against top teams. Clearly, we failed.

It's the question would any other coach win double and play good football with this team.

He certainly didn't look like a Roman Emperor when he was leaning on the dugout in Lisbon at 2-7 down

Done well at Betis for a couple years but now he's back milking udders.

Well that was way too late, he should have been sacked the same day Liverpool happened. That was the fuck up.. At that point it did nothing but annoy the team.

No, cmon.

Koeman > Setien

Setien is way out of his depth. He's at best a mid-table team coach. Koeman might be so too, but at least Koeman was a great NT Coach.

He got fired in the end though, didnt he? Hence, Betis-reject.

I dont think you want to be comparing the coaching careers of Valverde and Setien though, no matter how much you may hate the former.

All 3 managers were out of their depth. If that's the standard of coaching we accept as good enough we have big problems. Chelsea sacked about 2 better managers than our best hiring post Pep . Let that sink in.
