Sign a manager who has a vision.. It's easy to spot vision even with terrible results.. Klopp ended up I think midtable in his first season with Liverpool but u could see the vision from miles away as to how he wanted his team to play. Cowman is as clueless as valverde and the rest of them.

Laporta won't fire him after tonight's showing. The team is so far off from competing for a CL that a manager change won't make much of a difference.

Koeman is a nice scapegoat for Laporta til he bides his time to improve club finances and the on-field quality of the team. The second that he makes a managerial change, people will start to point fingers at Laporta rather than the new manager if the team continues to fail.

Well said and totally true. Laporta never wanted Koeman (from all stuff we have heard). Laporta wanted to sack Koeman, but simply couldn't afford it. We are stuck with Koeman for this season and then we can say BYE BYE.

I hope Laporta has someone good lined up after Koeman, but not sure if there's any quality available next off-season.. Every good coach seems to have a job right now.
